  7. All Organs

This is a collection of 18 organ "tones" making up all the organ uploads I could find in the current uploads as of 7/17/2014 for the XW-P1. These should be unzipped and put in your "userdat" folder for transfer with the XW-P1 data editor. .ZDOs are drawbar organs. .ZLT are PCM tones and .ZTN are hex layer organs.

  10. HexSquarePAD

    https://soundcloud.com/petar-pavlovic-4/pad-improvisations-1
No square waves used Made entirely of Jupiter and Reverse Saw waves. The even harmonics are trying to cancel each out, so the odd harmonics are much louder, giving a squarish sound.

  12. Epic Score

A Vox /Pad/Strings Hex layer . Works well for slow movie type ballads and scores. Pretty enough to bring a tear to your eyes.
Sounds good on higher octave too.

  13. Bretharp

Here is my submission to the harmonica challenge. Solo synth tone created on G1. The PCM wave number may need to be changed to 0152 to get it to work on a P1.
Version 2.0, updated following my suggestions in http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/5550-harmonica-challenge/

  15. Piano +Vox 2

This is my version of Hex layer of the user-06 in the hex layers called piano+vox . I like it so much I replaced the original patch with this one. It works well for November Rain and ballad type stuff.
Sliders 1 and 2 are pianos.
Sliders 3 and 4 are vocal based or vox.
Sliders 5 and 6 are Strings.
Mess around with the velocity on the keys with this one. Slow easy playing triggers layers 1,2, 3 and 5 together. Harder ,more dramatic playing brings in layers 4 and 6.
Turning 1 and 2 all the way down sounds good too. Play around with it.
If you like this patch give me some reviews.

  19. Won't Get Fooled This Time

Here is my second attempt at the "Won't Get Fooled Again" organ. It follows on from an XW-P1 discussion called "Arpeggios !" and this time I do use the arpeggiator, with only two steps, to give the basic pulse rhythm. It's based on my previous "Fooled Again" upload, so there is a solo-synth tone to create the slow filter sweep, a performance so chords can be played and now an arpeggiation as well. The arpeggiator has taken over the job of LFO2, so the low frequency clunking that was evident in the previous version as the two LFOs fought over the filter is now gone. You can tweak the total filter parameters in the solo synth to alter the sweep and change the tempo to alter the speed of the pulse. As before, this was done on a G1, so make sure a full drawbar is assigned to zone 2 of the performance to make it work on a P1.
I've just updated the performance to bring the tempo closer to the actual song. Assignable knob 1 and 2 are now set to control the total filter cutoff and resonance respectively.

  20. Fooled Again

My attempt at Fooled Again using PCM organ + LFO1 controlling the slow filter sweep and LFO2 pulsing the filter. It's tricky to keep the two LFOs in phase.
This was done on a G1 so you may have to set PCM1 to an organ to get it working on a P1. I just use a full drawbar.
For full polyphony there is a performance that uses the above solo synth in zone 1 and runs zone 2 through zone 1. Set zone 2 to an organ and play chords.
    Meet the new boss.

  23. Harmonica-P1

A hex layer clean Harmonica sound.
    Layer 1,2,and 4 are Harmonicas.
Layer 3 is a light volume reed organ. Give the other layers a slight breath sound and little extra bite.
No other sliders are used .

  24. Wastelands

A Hex-Layer Tone made up of 4 PCM layers. Taking advantage of the Ring Modulator to create some harsher sounds, this is a very atmospheric and moody patch. At harder velocities will introduce a piano note, and at extreme velocities will introduce a choir voice... none of which are even a bit clean sounding! Very fitting for things horror and sci-fi in nature...
This is something I'm sure I will use on a future record of my own, but I figured I would share with the community.
    Enjoy!

  25. Privia Hex Saw

An edit of Hex Layer Preset 0-0 XW PolySynth as suggested by Mike Martin in the forums in response to reproducing the Privia Pro PX-5S Hex-Saw Synth with the XW-P1. Sound is much wider in the stereo field.
