Ok, a few Hex Layer presets, two Stage Settings and two mp3 for Hex Layer demo sounds...
I was inspired by vintage analog synth sounds and mood...
I used 3 oscillators for each Hex Layer...
I made 2 Stage Settings splitting 2 Hex Layer each one; Sliders 1 & 2 are the volume zones ...(you can hear mp3 demo)...

This is a slightly modified version of stage setting 4-3 that uses an arpeggio tied to the phrase "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Kahn.
The original can be heard here:
You will need to download the "Ain't Nobody" phrase and place it in U-102. I also slightly modified the filter envelope to take some top end out of the sound so it sounds more like the sound in the original recording. You can adjust the filter to your taste by using Knob 1 as with the orginal setting.

I just created what I think is a fabulous Pad with gentle EP1 in the background. Perfect for Ballads or especially Awesome for Church Ambiance background behind a Pastor speaking or praying. I took the elements of Africa Stage Setting 7 - 3 went into the Hex Layer and removed the percussive attack of it - Then built the other 3 zones from there ...It resembles some of the best Pad's the Yamaha Motif has to offer - I think it sounds better ...

Real Synth Cowbell in the Synth Drum Set

This is my synthesized cowbell placed along side of Synth Set 2. My cowbell is on Ab3 and the sampled cowbell I moved to Bb3 for a good side by side comparison. My synth cowbell is not on the same zone as Synth Set 2 so if you want to use it in a drum beat it will take some clever programming to do it.

Morse Code Sounds for Spacey Themes

This is a Stage Setting that includes a hex layer on zone 1. The Hex tone has 3 split layers of Morse code beep tones that are panned Left, Right and center. Each layer's volume is assigned to sliders 1,2 and 3. Use the sliders for bringing the different codes in and out.
I programmed a phrase that will play 3 different Morse code sequences all at the same time yet are really separate because of how it is arranged in relation to the Morse Beep Hex Layer. The different codes in the phrase sequence are mapped to the 3 Split zones of the hex layer.
Code 1) Left Channel Tone
Code 2) Center Ch. Tone
Code 3) Right Ch.
The phrase is not assigned as an arpeggio in this Stage Setting. Use the phrase player. The Morse phrase is on this download page.

This is a four zone Stage Setting. From the bottom to the top of the keyboard, it contains a hex layer sawtooth bass sound (Zone 2), the hook sound used during the chorus (Zone 4), Ahh's to cover back up vocals during the bridge - chorus (Zone 3) and, finally, the top note is a hand clap (Zone 1). Other sound effects including woop's and huh's are covered by my Nord.
I am having a problem recalling a portamento parameter that is on the hook/Zone 4 tone. It is enabled when I save it as well as when I recall it, but the portamento is not functional on recall unless I disable and re-enable the portamento. This is located in the Tone Edit - Portamento menu (make sure you are in Zone 4).
