  2. PX-560 Noire Grand

A variation of the core sound as used in this PX-5S video below:

    Notes:
No custom controls have been set up with this but here are two tones - Noire Piano (piano melody tone) and a Sub Sin (hex). Also two Registrations included. Registrations will not automatically point to the proper sounds. Once selected you'll have to choose the proper tones and re-write the registration. This does give you the proper effects settings.
Two Registrations (ZRM files) which you'd have to point to the proper sounds. v1 - Both set up as Layers Upper1 (Noire Piano) and Upper2 (Sine Sub).  v2 - I set up with the Noire Piano as both Upper 1 and one of the Splits, with the Sub Sine layered in the other split.  This gives you the flexibility to use another Hex pad sound in Upper2.

  15. Phaser EP MM

A new Rhodes EP for the PX-560. A nice bell tell in this one without it being overwhelming. New settings for the phaser which I think sound pretty sweet.

  16. Steve Weingart Rhodes (560)

The Rhodes preset that Steve Weingart uses on his PX-5S now ported over to the PX-560.  This contains 3 files.

SWeingartRdz1 - The pure Rhodes sound that Steve uses the majority of the time which uses the DSP as EQ to simulate the EQ on a pre-amp he uses on his real Rhodes.

SWeingartRdT - Same as above without the EQ, instead a Stereo Tremolo used for the DSP effect.

SweingartRdP -  Same as above without the EQ, instead a classic phaser sound.

  19. Symphony2

Another variation on a factory Hex Layer tone, Symphony2 takes advantage of the Stereo String samples found in the PX-560 (not in the PX-5S).

This is a Hex Layer tone so a Hex Layer category tone must be selected in Upper1 before going to the Media menu to load this file.

  20. SilkySmooth2

A variation on a stock preset, the Silky Smooth2 press is a little darker, wider in the stereo field and has a phaser effect for some extra animation.

  21. Dreamy Roadz

New for the PX-560 is this "Dreamy Roadz" Electric Piano.  This is a Hex Layer tone so a Hex Layer category tone must be selected in Upper1 before going to the Media menu to load this file.

This is a tone with a narrow amplitude dynamic range that is still highly expressive and will fit great in a mix.  Make yourself a custom registration with some extra reverb and perhaps layer the SilkSmooth2 tone also found here on the forum.

  22. Wish You Were Here

As requested on the Facebook group here is a quick synth sound for the song Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

This is a Hex Layer tone.
2 layers are being used for the synth brass part.  This is mapped on the keyboard up to E5.
A 3rd layer has the white noise (wind) sound which is also using the stereo delay insert effect.  This is mapped to keys F5 and higher.

If I were to build a registration to perform this song, I'd set it up with a Piano in the LOWER1 location and this HexLayer tone in the Upper 1.  Take a look at the attached photo which shows octave switches and split point recommendations.

  23. PX-560 Clav Wah Exp. Pedal

I've created a new tone and registration for a wah effect on the clavinet for the PX-560.
This zip file has two components.
    1. A new clav tone with the distortion DSP effect and Amp simulator used.
    2. A registration with the Expression Pedal assigned to control the "Manual" parameter of the wah effect.
To use the file you have to load both components into the PX-560. Once loaded into your PX-560, the Registration may not select the proper tone - this depends on which location you loaded the user tone. To make it work properly, choose the Registration location that you loaded into the PX-560. Now in Tone Upper 1, select the User Clav tone that you've loaded in. Store the new Registration and you're all set.
    Added Knob Assignments
    K1 - Distortion Level
    K2 - Amp Selector
    K3 - Routing Selection
