  1. CT-S1 SynBrs (Stage Setting for PX-5S)

    As described in this comment:

Here is a stage setting for the PX-5S that will send one program change message to the CT-S1 - provided they connected via midi - for it to sound the 1st tone in the Synth category of its tone bank. That tone is called Synth-Brass, hence the name of the stage setting.

Moreover, you will have control over:

filter cut-off [Slider 1] filter resonance [Slider 2] attack time [Slider 3] chorus [Slider 4] delay [Slider 5] reverb [Slider 6]
    of the CT-S1

    and

use pitch bender use modulation wheel
    all triggered by the PX-5S.

For the stage setting to send the program change message you may have to press [Bank] and the stage setting-number you saved it under.
For instance, if you saved it under Bank 0-0, you would press [Bank] and [0] [0].

By design, sound generation on the PX-5S is turned off in this stage setting. Likewise, the target (1 & 2) of Knobs 1-4 is not assigned.

Here is an example of the stage setting in use. All music is played on the PX-5S, even though it is the CT-S1 you hear. I used some of the sliders on the PX-5S to slightly alter the sound from the CT-S1:

  2. NeonStreets Performance [PX5S]

My weekend Jam Stage performance patch eighties synth pop vibe
I want to share with ya'll.

I love the eighties music you know driving round the strip , sky lines, sunset
beach view, mountain high city lights , plane fly by condense lines.

This stage has a fixed drum pattern on C2 gets triggered by velocity
Its done with the arpeggio cause of the snappy dynamics I like.
The stage is at tempo 120 that not really preferable as 110 but hey its me XD.
*I'm working on a FM-ish bass its not in this stage but a reminder to
myself improving this stage for later. *

    Enjoy.

  4. Anne's stage settings organiser

This is a stage settings organiser which I made to keep track of my stage settings. It consists of a series of tables set out exactly as the stage settings are laid out on the PX-5s. There is one with the factory stage settings, one with the factory settings in the alternative order, and several blank ones for you to keep a record of your own registration sets.
It fits perfectly onto an ipad.
I refer to mine all the time and could not manage without it.
I have two copies of it available: one in NUMBERS format for the ipad, and the other in EXCEL for windows.
The Excel version is the second file (19.48 kb).... and the numbers version is the first (211.73 kb). Both files are ZIPPED so you will need to unzip them before using them. (Let me know if you are not sure about how to unzip a file and I will help you - either here or in the Facebook group).
I hope it may be of use to you.

  6. PX-5s Mainstage 3 Layouts

The attached file contains 2 layouts for MainStage 3 that mimic the controls section of the PX-5s.

One layout is graphically simple and "linear", the other is more "photorealistic"; both layouts are unmapped and fully customizable so you can adapt them to your liking and needs.

To use the layout, create a new (or load an existing) Mainstage concert, then go in Layout mode and using the top-left "gear" menu select "Import Layout..".

As a general consideration, if you plan to use the PX-5s with Mainstage, I suggest that you create a specific Stage Setting for that, with a single Zone/Channel and assign generic MIDI CC numbers to S1-6 and K1-4; then you can map them to the layout I posted (and do the rest of mappings, zoning etc. within MainStage)

  9. 1NTITLE

The song 1NTITLE uses the PHRASE Test1LED.ZPH to demonstrate how to have playing drums in each StageSetting by using the Song seqencer.
For this song you need to save the Phrase Test1LED to postion 104 (I guess it is mapped by number and not by name)
The song 2NTITLE uses the 4 factory preset DrumLoops 031 - 034. You can change the number of repeatings to get a longer song.
The tempo is stored in the song and can be changed and saved.
Note: If you change a StageSetting during playing a song it will change the tempo of the song, because a Stage setting also contains a tempo setting.
If you need to change StageSettings during the playing drumsong, you have to adjust the tempo in the stagesettings to the same value and save them
