GRF EP v.2

   (5 reviews)

About This File

This is an electric piano sound somebody (with the initials "GRF") asked for on the Casio FB page to use in church. Hope it's close enough!!!

Please adjust the eq to your own taste...

I added "stereo strings" into the 4th zone, controlled by PEDAL 2 - if the Lord so moves you to use it!!! : )

Although is is much richer on the keyboard, here's a sample:

THIS SECOND VERSION is a BETTER version thanks to Terry L.'s kind help!!!!!!!!!!

The strings are triggered by PEDAL 2 now, instead of by slider 1...and all the strange assignments have been cleared up!

There are a few odd control assignments in this…slider 2 is set to DSP Parameter 7 and slider 3 is set to DSP Parameter 3. They are assigned to all zones. The strings on zone 3 have DSP Equalizer assigned, so slider 2 affects the Input Level, which means if it is moved to the 0 position, it overrides the zone volume.

The EP on zone 1 has DSP Auto Pan applied, but there is no parameter 7 in that. However, parameter 3 is LFO Waveform, but since slider 3 has its Maximum set to 40, it has no effect. Zone 2 and 3 have no DSP applied, so are not affected.

None of this will matter if you never want to use the strings, but knowing the author, I expect this will be fixed pronto!

All mistakes corrected, and the strings are now activated by pedal 2...ENJOY!!!

Btw, zone two "electric piano 2" is there to provide the "clinky" sound to the left hand side (below middle C) of the board....I personally have reduced it from volume "64" to "42" on my keyboard to lessen the effect.
