Galileo organ (on ipad) controller 2.0.0

   (0 reviews)

About This File

This is my Stage setting for PX-5S, designed to control the Galileo organ app.

I have mapped it in the following way, so that the PX will control the following things in Galileo:

Slider 1: Upper drawbar 16'

Slider 2: Upper drawbar 51/3'

Slider 3: Upper drawbar 8'

Slider 4: Upper drawbar 4'

Slider 5: Upper drawbar 22/3'

Slider 6: Upper drawbar 2'

Knob 1: Upper drawbar 13/5'

Knob 2: Upper drawbar 11/3'

Knob 3: Upper drawbar 1'

Knob 4: Vibrato on/off

Pitch bend wheel: Pitch bend

Mod wheel: master volume. I have set this for a range from 50 - 100 (I anticipate using it at about 50 but it is early days yet. Be sure to adjust it if necessary to how you want it.)

Pedal 1: Rotary fast/slow

Pedal; 2: Rotary brake

This is my first venture into the realm of midi, and also my first attempt to properly map organ controls. Please let me know if I need to make any changes - especially if I have left out something important. I hope to end up with the definitive Galileo controller at some point......... I also hope it may be of some use to you. :)

What's New in Version 2.0.0   See changelog

Released

This new version has the midi output channel set to channel 8. This means that if you change Stage settings on your PX, there will be no danger of the galileo organ making an unwelcome entrance into your favourite piano sound etc. if your ipad is still plugged in.

However, you will need to adjust your actual galileo settings on your ipad as well. Set the MIDI in channel to 8 Also, on the MIDI MAPS page, set all relevant drawbars etc. to 8.

If you have any problem doing this, please mention it in the  Facebook group and I will send you a Galileo template to use.

Hopefully this will make my stage setting a lot more usable. Thanks to Eboniver for pointing out this error. :-)

Hi knuckles

thanks for Your  Galileo iPad control stage setting. It works well.

I tried to change programs using no/yes button   without result...

The only way I found in order to do it was using edit menu but there is a lot  of manual steps before You can be able to change Galileo app programs.

have you some alternative automatic suggestion for program changes?

thanks in advance

Hi Lino - thank you ! Sorry I did not see your question until today. I save my Galileo settings as user presets and then it requires just one button press on the iPad to change them. (I don't know if it is possible to change them via the PX ......haven't attempted to do it...) Try asking this question in the Facebook group or on the main forum page as there are many people who know a lot more about Galileo than me.

Hi knucles

I Solved my problem saving  Galileo presets I mainly use in the Galileo app Favorites page, so I can send program changes using -/No, +/YES buttons located  near the usb stick slot
