  1. It has 64 polyphony voices and 790 new sounds. The sound engine is based on PCM and has been supplemented with modern sounds. It is a keyboard, so it is equipped with 270 styles. Each Style has 4 variations of 2 Intro and the same number of Endings. The instrument will be compatible with MP3 and Wave files, and the most interesting thing is that it will be quite a budget keyboard with a 16 track sequencer. This means that we will be able to record tracks from A to Z on it. Naturally, it will read SMF files. Weight - 4 kg and battery operation Approximate price 600 Euro.
  2. I have a request to Casio MZ-x500/300 owners. Can you upload a pack of Gospel Latin styles and then save them as single styles and share them on a free server or send them to petersohn@wp.pl. http://www.casioteclados.com.br/mundomzx/m/img/downloads/GOSP_Latam_500.zip There are great pop and ballad styles here. I will try to rewrite these styles and adapt them to the new Ct-X 5000/3000 series, and will of course make them available in the downloads section of the forum.
  3. http://www.medeli.com.hk/x10 DISPLAY 7” touch screen MAX POLYPHONY 256 VOICE 1100 + 256 GM2 + 512 users STYLE 280 + 512 users Internal storage (256MB sample expansion) It looks great. I'm waiting for the price and demos of sounds. We'll see if Casio shows the successor to MZ-X. The new Ct-x series sounds great but the display and operation is one big tragedy. The touchscreen is the basis of our times - if Casio doesn't understand it, I'm switching to another brand of keys.
  4. Thank you for your answer. So far I haven't met with this problem - I'll stay with the first version.
  5. Today while doing style I noticed a problem with the sound of the guitar in Intro. The problem is presented in the recording: https://picosong.com/wJE2W/ In both cases I used the factory sound WAHDISTGT3. If on Chord 4 I use Choir Aahs the guitar plays correctly with its sound - if I use Elec.Organ the guitar sounds completely different. It seems to me that on Elec.Organ sound a different effect is used and it influences guitar sound. In Mixer Edit the guitar plays correctly - after saving it, it changes the sound. Has anyone had a similar situation? How to solve such a problem? Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator
  6. It's a universal style that I associate with Russia, it's not connected with any song - I gave it this name - you can play on it whatever you like - an example is a demo created on a few simple chords.
  7. Hey Silvano - it sounds great. Say if this Guitar Loop can be used in different styles. How does changing the tempo of style affect the sound? Will other Guitars Loop be available? Do you think Drums Loop can be used in Mz and used in styles? I know that even in Genos, using loop audio is a lot of problems and needs to be processed in a few programs, it's fun for the persistent - is it the same in MZ-X? Will this guitar loop be available for purchase? I know you are one of the most experienced MZ-X users and the sounds you create are great. It's great that you're constantly exploring its possibilities and creating something new. Thanks to users like you, I like this keyboard more and more.

RUSSIAN DISCO - CASIO MZ X500 Demo: https://picosong.com/wu9kf/ In order for the style to play like a demo you have to download drums, bass (factory Slap EB KVT raised by one octave) and the sound of GAMBUS TREMOLO - chord 5 - variation 3/4.

  10. Korg (Krome EX, Kronos SE, Volca Drum and Modular, Minilogue XD ) and Yamaha (CP73/88) are releasing their novelties - I'm waiting for Casio novelties - it's a pity that Casio doesn't release any more short films and informs about its novelties.
  11. For many years I have been on many music forums - dedicated to keyboard instruments - Roland, Korg, Yamaha and several musical instruments related to various brands. The styles converted and adapted to a different instrument have been made available there many times, and no one ever did any problems. If, for example, Casio in his new instrument Ct-X5000 used styles from Genos and placed in factory styles, it would have problems with copyright. If someone used Yamaha Genos styles to release a song without an agreement with Yamaha, that would also have problems with copyrights. Styles converted and adapted to Casio instruments will sound different and no producer will be able to claim copyright because they sound different than on the key on which they were created. The same law applies to styles for specific works - if they are available free of charge, there is no problem, if we sell them, we have to pay a fee for the given creator of the work - in Poland Zaiks is charged. But if we change the intro and ending a bit and it is different from the original song, we do not have to pay the fee anymore.
  12. It promises to be more and more interesting, applause for Casio!
  13. EMC Style Works is the most versatile program for converting styles. http://www.emc-musicsoftware.com/epages/62511965.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62511965/Products/stwxt_0001/SubProducts/stwxt_0001-0020 I used it many times when I had keyboards from Technics and I lacked styles. Ketron SD1/SD5 styles played best because Ketron uses only GM system. Converted styles from Roland E80/G70 also played well. The worst sounded Yamaha styles, so I didn't use them at all. I miss the styles in Casio from Ketron and Roland. I now have Ketron SD5 and there almost every style is suitable for playing - the styles are great, at Casio I don't use the factory ones at all, because they are weak. I used to buy a Technics Giga Styles Collection package and most of the styles were converted from other keys. Probably in older versions of EMC Style Works there was also a converter to Casio MZ 2000.

  16. Just listen to the new CT-X series and you'll see that the factory styles sound much better. The styles have been fine-tuned and use the sound of the new Aix sound engine. The MZ series can sound good, but it requires your own style work. Casio Mz-x is sold out in many stores in Poland and can be bought at a good price. A few buyers have already written to me and cursed this key. They are surprised that the key of the Premium series (MZ-x 500) sounds so poorly. Casio MZ has cool sounds, great service but tragic sounding styles. Why didn't Casio update the styles, why didn't it bring the Global Rhythm styles to your memory? Everyone who bought this key and wrote to me quickly gets rid of it even at a much lower price, losing a lot. Unfortunately, comparing MZ-X styles to the Yamaha, Korg, Rolad Casio sounds like a cheap toy. The Ct-X series is the right direction in Casio's development. I hope that a new model of the Aix series will come out with a colour display, sampleer and refined styles and will be a strong player on the market. I hope that Casio will listen to the voice of the users and will from time to time release new styles from different genres as the competition does. For now I have the impression that the company only cares about selling its products and then disregards us - you bought the Casio key, you have the Style Creator to do it for yourself. Or maybe the company has not yet grown up to the service offered by the competition. May this change in the new year. Greetings and best wishes for 2019.

  22. In one of the topics you wrote a few months back that there will be one more update to the MZ-X series and the sounds from the Aix series will be added. Update 1.60 appeared but there were no new sounds. I understand that this key will not be developed anymore because its production is over.
  23. Casio in the 90s presented keys at a similar level as Yamaha. Yamaha developed strongly and went ahead - Casio was left behind. Now he is trying to chase the competition, but unfortunately it is not so easy. The Aix series sounds very good, it has been professionally introduced to the market, there are many great presentations. Let's hope that based on this sound engine will also be created many new models from the higher shelf. On the market of the educational model is growing competition, in addition to Yamaha and Roland recently entered the market also Korg with his model Ek-50. There are also many new companies that are chasing Casio - Medeli, Ringway, Dexibell. Casio should fight for a budget ledge from the Yamaha S775, Korg pa 700 and Roland Ea-7. A successor of the MZ-X series must be created with refined styles, good sounds, new percussion sets, a full-value sampler, great service and a good look like the mz-x500. Casio also has to look after customers who have bought their keys. Yamaha and Korg offer a rich collection of styles for their clients. Observing the forum, I come to the conclusion that the company's policy boils down to the conclusion: you have Style Creator and videos on Youtube - you will do it yourself. Is not it better to learn from the best, does Casio want to tie customers to your brand? And what about the customers of the Mz-x series. A few months ago Brad Saucier wrote that an update with the Aix series would be released. Is something known about it? Is MZ-X already intended for withdrawal? Recently I thought about buying a new key for my collection, I was thinking about the new Ct-x 5000 but looking at the display and user interface I decided to stay with the MZ-X series. At the moment I preferred to buy a used Ketron SD5 keyboard. When it comes to acoustic sounds, percussive sounds and styles for playing, the MZ -x series sounds like a toy at Ketron. I am waiting for the successor of the Mz series, if I do not leave, I will say goodbye to this brand.
  24. Styles are great - they sound professional, you did a good job. Thank you very much for sharing them. 👍
