I don’t know if there is a difference, but Is it possible you are plugging the sustain pedals into the expression jack rather than the damper jack?

I used to have the Privia 560, but I didn’t like the long intros and endings for the rhythms. If I wanted to end a song without using the long ending, I had to press the stop button which abruptly ended the rhythm without even a drum hit - it just sounded unnatural. Now, I am waiting for the 3100 to arrive and have to ask: is there any way to shorten the rhythm intros on the 3100 to a 4 beat count-off click and shorten the ending to just having a drum hit? I always found that on the 560, pressing the stop button didn’t give any finality to the song so I instead had to endure a long ending.

Another way to hold the mixer settings is to go to the Menu and touch “Registration”. On the next screen, turn on “Mixer”. You will have to do this every time you power up the 560. This will hold your mixer settings on all registrations.
