I love everything about my new AP650! The only thing I find strange is that the two headphone outputs take 1/4 inch "standard" stereo jack plugs instead of 3.5mm like my PX110 does. All of the headphones/earbuds in our house are 3.5mm, so now I have to either go and get a big ugly adapter or buy headphones with a 1/4 inch plug (I actually borrowed my Dad's 30+ year old Pioneer headphones in the interim). I'm curious: why the bigger jack plug when everything readily available these days seems to be 3.5mm?

I confirmed this dealer through Casio Canada/their distributor. Given that these pianos seem so hard to come by at the moment, I would be surprised if anyone selling them wasn't an authorized dealer!

Gary you are right. I had my suspicions but after I spoke to the sales lady I felt a little better since she told me herself about the extended warranty if registered within 30 days of purchase, among other things. Don't know if Mike can confirm this dealer but if not I will place a call to the Canadian office to confirm. Thanks and wish me luck!

Thank you Gary. I actually located a recently appointed dealer in the Markham area who has a 650 in stock and is getting a handful of 450s the end of this month.

Thanks Mike. Does this mean they've carried the AP X50 series at some point since its release and simply sold out (online)? If that's the case I think I'd be able to wait if there are plans to deliver more stock.

Hello - I know that Costco.ca carry the Celviano line but as of today don't see the X50 series online. I have called around to a few places and can't seem to find anyone that carries them. The closest I've come is someone on Kijiji but it's not clear if it's a store or an individual. Any info would be appreciated, thank you!
