  1. I just reset the keyboard. Fixed the problem.
  2. Suddenly no midi out from my PX-5s. When I open Midi Monitor, it shows the 5s. But no note on and off. This is true whether I'm taking the signal from the midi ports or the USB out. Any ideas? JD Logic X Mac Yosemite
  3. I've tried CC07 and it doesn't work for some reason. No audible volume change at all when working the slider that's assigned to the external module. CC11 does make a very audible change, but I'm still hearing a slight amount of the instrument. Any ideas of how to access the volume for Line In? Thanks, BradMZ.
  4. I have created a stage setting that has piano in Zone 1. And an external module (Roland VK8m) that is connected to Line In and controlled by Zone 2. I want to be able to switch back and forth and also be able to blend the 2 instruments. I'm currently controlling the volume of each on Sliders 1 & 2. The problem is that I hear a tiny bit of the external module all the time, even when Slider 2 (cc11) is all the way down. Is there a way to access the Line In volume via a Stage Setting? Perhaps then I could really turn off the sound from the module.
  5. I spent a good bit of time with the folks at Finale trying to figure out why my PX-5S wasn't able to input midi information in Finale 2010. They finally said that it was because my keyboard uses high resolution midi velocity. And they suggested there may be 3rd party ways of filtering the midi flow and getting my keyboard to work. I just found an easier (for me) solution. I unplugged the USB cable and created an Audio Midi Setup using midi out from my PX-5S only. Now Finale is happy.
