  1. WrmStrPianos This is a stage setting based on Mike Martin's Warm Strings 1, but with a few things added for fun. Zone 1 - WarmStrings1 (hex U089) Split from C1 to B3 Zone 2 - GrPnoConcert (pno U22) Zone 2 - Digital EP 6 (epn P019) Zone 4 - Warm Pad (var P022) K1 - Cutoff (briteness) for Zone 1 S1 - Volume for Zone 1 S2 - Volume for Zone 2 S3 - Volume for Zone 3 S4 - Volume for Zone 4 Pedal 2 - Provides a swell for lower strings on Zone 1 This setting defaults to mild strings with a grand piano and slight warm pad. You can swell the strings volume temporarily with Pedal 2. Sliders can be used to boost the strings or pad. Or you can switch to a crystal sounding EP by zeroing Slider 2 and maxing Slider 3.

  3. Thanks Scott. I will try to find a discussion some where on the web which characterizes the sounds produced by each of these amps.
  4. I'm sure it somehow stems from the different amplifiers on the market over time, but it would help to have an explanation of the codes and amplifiers being simulated though (typically) Slider 2 control. Also,a brief note on the tonal characteristics of each amp would be helpful. My apologies if this is covered somewhere else on this forum.
  5. I am wanting to create MIDI presets in Set List Maker for our Casio LK-240 board. The printable tone list is available from Casio as an appendix Web_075LAppend-WL-1A.pdf. Unfortunately, it is protected so that you can't copy the contents into a spread sheet for loading into SLM. Anyone found an unprotected list?
  6. I may have missed something, but I don't remember seeing how to get a list of the factory phrases. Any ideas?
  7. Funny, the first thing I researched was how to turn the lights off.
  8. On the Youtube coverage of Musikmesse 2013, we see MusicStore TV folks using an iPad app with the Casio PX-5S to control tones. I’m told the app is Setlistmaker. Can you confirm this and describe what is needed to make this work? I have an iPad4 with camera connector but I want to know which Setlistmaker components to purchase.
