  1. The Software you introduced in Kontakt from what I've seen. I believe it would be possible to link the CT-X itself as a midi card in the output of your Software routing through Kontakt. It's hard to understand because I don't have your program to analyze. In the question of samples of kontakt drums GM I have some. Sampling the CTX would be an expensive job
  2. I believe that automation of CC commands only works with the Midi file. When you create a midi with a CC command and convert it to Casio MZ-X where you switch to AC7 the entire automation process is deleted. This is clearly a limitation of the AC7 file. This has already been discussed numerous times, including the issue of the AC7 file system being blocked. A classic example is some factory rhythms that have different introductions in major chords and minor chords. This resource type cannot play and create on Casio because the AC7 file is locked.
  3. Left Hold is different from Pedal Sustain. Anyone who has gone through other brands already knows how it works. For example if you put a Strings Pad in your left hand with the accompaniment activated, this base of the Strings pad is fixed where you change chords and even removing the left hand the sound continues. The SUSTAIN effect on the pedal, if you keep using the pedal, the notes overlap, forcing you to take your foot off the pedal. I am amazed that few still do not understand the issue of the topic. If necessary I record a video with my Roland E-50 and MZ-X500 to explain the differences between Left Hold and Pedal Sustain.
  4. The truth is that Casio should release its code from the rhythms for the programs already known as STYLE WORKS Among others to make life easier for those who already have rhythms from other platforms. It has an Excel-based program that, if you pay attention, a "raw" conversion can be done and another way would be to use MZ-X to make it easier.
  5. I've seen this problems with friends and in part the solution may be: 1: Reinstall the last update 2: Install samples into the MZ-X's memory until full to force your MZ-X into memory adjustment mode and let the keyboard finish In many cases it can work
  6. I know it's a little off topic but I managed to fix a little problem with my Casio MZ-X500's Bass simply by paying attention to the Rhythm Creation Function of my old Roland E-50. The accompaniment if you use transpose the bass of the MZX starts following the range sounding very high and/or sounding very low. On the Roland E-50, when recording the bass , it repeats the octaves obeying only the bass region and therefore, even if you play in the octaves below, it will sound the octave above respecting its range. I was able to successfully reproduce it on the Casio MZ-X creating a Hexalayer bass where the octaves repeat similar to Roland. Unfortunately in the CT-X there is no acceptance of this feature but what we have left is editing the parameters in order for the notes to sound the most natural.
  7. It is very rare for a STY rhythm to work properly even when using the MZ-X converter. It's easier for you to rename the STY file to Mid and edit it in your favorite DAW and only then send it to the MZ-X converter. The STY extension is much more complex and elaborate than the AC7 extension. Casio long ago should have made a successor to the AC7 with improvements especially in the smaller majors and sevenths. And it is also very useful for Casio to unlock the AC7 files and leave the default midi in your core.
  8. Why doesn't Casio release an update to a Drum Editor for the CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 models? We see in these models Sounds that have only Snares and others only Bass Drums. These sounds are impractical to use in Rhythms as there is also a need to use Hi-Hat, Tom Tom and others. A Drum Kit editor like the MZ-X would solve these problems. When we use Pitch Bend to record Rhythms in the Drums part, the keyboard locks up and doesn't turn off. We use Pitch Bend to tune some Pieces. If the CT-X had this tool that we have in the MZ-X it would solve a lot. Editable Kit on CT-X only allows adding DSP
  9. I have the MZ-X500 and I think it has some advantages over the PX-5 . If you're a guy who programs the MZ-X a lot, there's no shortage of resources to do so. You might be surprised about the lack of keys and their playability since the PX is a hammer action piano. The MZ-X unfortunately only has 2 DSPs but in terms of system effects such as Reverb Delay and Chorus are fully programmable. The lack of DSPs ends when you work with the MZ-X sampler. This is where when you add different samples the keyboard changes shape. And also the arranger feature which facilitates quick and practical arrangements what the PX you have to be sequencing.
  10. Congratulations Popsel. Unfortunately I won't be able to buy it due to currency conversions where it is expensive for me. I hope one day that Casio itself will buy your converter. This would be of great help to anyone who lives converting files.
  11. https://www.casio.com/products/electronic-musical-instruments/casiotone/ct-s500/techspec Hi friends, I have a You Tube channel and some subscribers ask me about the new CT-S500. I also have my questions: 1: What are the 15 Advanced tones and how do they work 2: And the Classic tones what are their characteristics. 3: I saw that it has a Sampling function as Melody works (10 seconds for wav phrases?)
  12. It would be great if Casio made an update that put another function on the Sustain button like Off DSP modulation among other options. We know that any proper use of Sustain has to be with the pedal. The Roland-E50 also had a little-used button. A button that controlled lighting system. Roland has made an update that gives the option to change the function of the button and that was very helpful. You as a admin / moderator closer to the Bigs at Casio could forward these ideas. The CT-X is an excellent keyboard but its use is still bureaucratic.
  13. It was thanks to the program of the friends of the Site that I was able to edit a Rhythm of the MZ-X. I changed the dynamics in the event edit. If we have the advanced access to the AC7 file, it would be of great value to Casio because of course the Rhythms created by the programmers
  14. Of course, this site is nothing Official except for some links there that must have something made by Yamaha itself. The STY is a wonderful file even the most recent ones even open in the Sonar DAW. Roland Korg STY files and even Ketrons files are used in programs for conversion. Why not the Casio AC7? There would only be 3 alternatives: 1: Casio launch a Native AC7 Converter Editor program 2: Casio release new keyboards with updated AC7 in midi standard (Maybe an AC9 file Ha Ha) 3: A programmer hero appears who creates a Software that unlocks AC7 in its entirety so that we can create our most advanced Rhythms.
  15. http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software.htm This is a small example of the amount of software available for Yamaha. I think it's because of the fame and also because of the open format of its files like STY. If the STY files were not opened, direct conversion on the Casio MZ-X would not be possible. Because Casio doesn't do the same. I'll give an example if Casio built a software where the AC7 was unlocked we could put Guitar Loop on the Casio MZ-X. I managed to put Guitar Loop in the MZ-X but in an unusual way that takes up a lot of resources from the MZ-X
  16. The curious thing is that in a Rhythms conversion program there are options to convert files from different brands but the AC7 extension is not present. Casio has locked the Extension because it is in these files that the chord variations should be. And to think that a detail like this could release Guitar Loop in the MZ-X simply by routing through chord chains. The Forum Friends ReStyle program unlocks rhythm editing but it is not possible to unlock Intros with different chords Quote
  17. Never that here in Brazil the Yamaha would cost this price. A used S670 here sells an average of 600 Dollars. The Sx600 is 1600 dollars.
  18. É um Pipe organ. No CT-X tem uns timbres assim já prontos. Talvez com uma edição ainda dá para melhorar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fILko0oM_Ls Aqui um vídeo com as Capacidades de timbres editados CT-X

  20. Do not do this. If the port of your MZ-X have problems , you may even have to change the motherboard. A friend had problems with the port due to misuse and had to change the motherboard
  21. Congratulations on your work with the partial unlocking of the AC7 files. It was thanks to this work that I was able to change the dynamics of a CHA CHA CHA on the Casio MZ-X. It's not just the Intros that would be interesting to unlock, but also the variations. Above the post cites the Intros and Endings but I believe that all variations and Fills could benefit from this feature. Some think these features are not interesting because they say that it is enough to record the SYTE Ac7 in the Midi recorder but I think it would be interesting to unlock some features that are not possible in the conventional way. My question is in which Midi channels the AC7 hides the MINOR and MAJOR ARRANGEMENTS. I used to have a PSR 630 and thanks to a CASM EDIT program I was able to create STYLES with elaborate arrangements that the keyboard would not normally accept.
  22. There is no way. I already commented on the forum. I've noticed that there are rhythms in both the CTK, the CT-X and the MZ-X that have these different intros. The answer is in the AC7 FILE which is locked for editing. On my old Roland E-50 there is the option to create 3 different arrangements: Major Minors and Sevenths. We hope one day that Casio will create a program that does this AC7 - MIDI conversion so that we can edit information from CCs. Another detail is that Casio keyboards do not accept BPM changes for the RHYTHMS. If you create a Midi rhythm and put the BPM changes in the DAW the MZ-X won't accept it. This is all because the AC7 file is locked.
  23. In fact, the computer industry has evolved tremendously. From Windows 98SE to Windows XP things have improved dramatically for digital audio. Many keyboard companies were forced to evolve their instruments to contain the new Kontakt One Man, Band and other DAW software. In the old days sound cards were horrible they had hiss and today any computer comes with a basic Realtek that meets even ASIO in a minimal way for the world of VSTi. The cheapening of new technologies is no excuse for keyboard Bigs to make excuses. The world moves at a speed that not even us, who are following technology, know everything. And certainly those extra seconds it takes for such a keyboard model to execute a file are the extra seconds to guarantee a great live tragedy. In the war of components we have A B C options and sometimes cents of difference are what drive the success of a manufacturer.
  24. I believe it's Aix But they still haven't managed to extract their full potential. Who knows, this sound engine will outperform on a keyboard with a superior Sound Card like the MZ-X
