  1. It's still a long time for "digital" media I believe that old floppy disks get almost equal times without joking. I have a Roland E-50 with Floppy Drive and it would be embarrassing to do a comparison video. I also have a CT-X3000
  2. We are in 2022 and seeing Computers with USB 3.0 ports of high speed NVME HDs among others. A keyboard with a 3.0 port I believe could easily play Wave Files straight from the flash drive without installing it in memory. It could even be a sample link to the PADS.
  3. In a way, there was a lack of refinement in the CT-X programming It's a complex rhythm program keyboard, currently I'm editing a good part of the rhythms in the MZ-X just to end up in the CT-X. It is a bureaucratic keyboard for programming. As for the DSPs I liked some conjugated DSPs. The UPPERS and LOWERS are buttons that are unfeasible live, forcing the user to save the combos in the registry. On the MZ-X on the screen we have the 4 UPPERS AND LOWERS and we can trigger each Tone on the screen independently. They put an innovative and good sound engine but in a CTK body with few shortcuts and a reduced screen. Since the last launch of the CT-X, we have already had 10 launches of the CT-S Line.
  4. CA-100 Came with Michael Jackson sheet music magazine as a gift 😄
  5. The bug becomes evident when using Pitch bend in Rhythm and entering edit mode and also when ritm uses a lot of information in its processing. Keyboard hangs and turns off.
  6. You said something I had forgotten about. The CT-X has this GAP when switching variations and switching chords. I thought it was Rhythm but I believe it is in player style. It could be DSP Bugs or it could also be Polyphony that went over the limit.
  7. This of not putting updates I believe you tell the truth "CASIO WILL NOT INCLUDE" There will always be hope. But... The Casio MZ-X after several updates had many improvements and fixes. As for Bugs, I can ask for assistance here because I've had the CT-X for 1 month. I just haven't asked yet because everyone I know has already asked for the corrections in support. Who knows, maybe it will have an effect here. So what would be the reason for the Post? "Proposals for improving the firmware of Casio CT - X3000" I have given my opinion and I am sure they are needed for the CT-X. As the CT-X is upgradeable, many new features are possible.
  8. IMPROVEMENTS 1: DRUM EDITOR AS IN CASIO MZ-X 2: REPROGRAMMABLE SUSTAIN BUTTON (UPPER 2 SELECTABLE) 3: AUTO FILL IN 4: RUNNING WAVE FILES ON PRHASE PAD (LINK TO PEN DRIVE) 5: LOWER FREEZE (SOUNDS LIKE STRINGS WOULD BE KEEPING IN THE LEFT HAND) 6: TONES EDITOR SOFTWARE (CT-X'S SCREEN IS SMALL FOR SO MANY DSP EDITIONS) CORRECTIONS 1: IMPROVE MIDI COMMUNICATION WITH THE DAW AND SOFTWARE 2: THE KEYBOARD CRASH WHEN WE ARE GOING TO EDIT THE RHYTHM AND ASSIGN THE ELEMENTS TO THE PITCH BEND
  9. Hi Here is a small demo and result of editing the tones on the CT-X3000. I really liked the DSP capabilities of the CT-X line https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fILko0oM_Ls
  10. This is what I try to explain to Akshansh. The MZ-X has just a wider range of onboard sound card. This has nothing to do with using MIDAS digital tables, SSL among others. This is from the keyboard itself is its feature in which sound technicians get scared and lower the volume gain of the MZ-X on the mixer. The CT-X has a more up-to-date sound engine but the MZ-X is not far behind just because of its sound card. A MZ-X with current sound engine would be very good, a perfect union AIX and with the sound card of the MZ-X. This kind of difference is clearly seen on the Yamaha PSR and GENOS. And I'm still not adding the editing part of the MZ-X like: ADSR editing that the CT-X doesn't have, HEXALAYER, DSPs and the special one that is the Sampler function. The CT-X and CT-S Line are fun keyboards with some very pleasant surprises when creating music. The MZ-X is a workstation that incorporates many more functions and expansions.
  11. I don't think that in terms of sound the CT-X is better than the MZ-X line because the sound card of the MZ-X is better. In the context of separate sounds in some situations the CT-X does much better. But in large volumes and dynamics applied in the accompaniments I believe that the MZ-X achieves a very comprehensive Headroom. I have both and the MZ-X can go very far in bass depth. And this is clearly due to your sound card. What I don't understand is this lack of features in both models since they are even simple features to implement.
  12. I believe you don't know the MZ-X's Auto Fill in. On the MZ-X you also have the option to disable AUTO FILL IN. In the CT-X you lose precious time when you fill in by pressing twice the desired variation. In this case the MANUAL FILL IN would not disappear but we would have options to activate and deactivate it.
  13. Congratulations to Casio for having hit the CT-X3000 with the MIXER feature Where when playing the accompaniment and changing the volumes they remain even when changing the variation. This feature should also be on the MZ-X Line. As for the CT-X we hope that Casio will update the AUTO FILL IN that it already has on the MZ-X Line.
  14. Some instruments are mounted differently on different brands. An example is articulated sounds. A steel guitar in the MZX can have its effects in different regions than a PSR. You may even be able to convert a rhythm but you still don't have some of the soul of the original Rhythm from another keyboard and it's not always appropriate to change its dynamics and rewrite it playing. More than that is needed, many CC command functions do not work properly when converted. it's also about getting keyboard samples or deep editing MZX kits for proper setup. THE COMPUTER SEES DETAILS THAT IN A DIRECT CONVERSION THE MZ-X DOES NOT SEE.
  15. The conversion is more complex than what you posted. First of all I have to prepare the original STY on the computer. And I also sampled Tyros 2 Drum Kits and also the bass guitar to get as close as possible. It's not a simple task.
  16. The CT-X should come with at least part of the MZ-X Line programming. Drum Editor, Dedicated buttons for UPPERS and LOWERS, Auto Fill in The MZ-X line became very intuitive thanks to the requests of the Users And in the CT-X Line the Users have to ask for some improvements because the keyboard is upgradable. This new CT-S1000V keyboard your focus I believe will be the Vocoder.
  17. Hermano latino. Latin brother. Roland XPS and CASIO CT-X are two products with different proposals. The Roland XPS is a Synthesizer with a Sampler feature of sampled tones. One thing you never trust in life. Sellers, marketers and musicians endorsers. The CT-X is a mid-range keyboard well below the MZ-X Line. Even though the CT-X has a newer sound engine than the MZ-X still some sounds sound much better on the Casio MZ-X due to its superior sound card. What we can do is ask CASIO to do an update that puts in DRUM EDITOR so we can create an edited kit that we can tune the parts into. The CT-X is upgradable and maybe CASIO engineers will be able to give us this gift. THE CASIO MZ-X IS TODAY ONLY AN EXCELLENT KEYBOARD THANKS TO USERS THAT REQUESTED IMPROVEMENTS AND CORRECTIONS.
  18. Hello friends. Now in addition to the Casio MZ-X500 I purchased the Casio CT-X3000. I would like to know if the CT-X line has AUTO FILL IN like the MZ-X line?
  21. Yes it's my channel video. The practical learning of Preload is to enable tones in red on Preload that are larger than 2.5mb And not to activate tones smaller than 2.5megabytes. Larger tones overload the MZX if not activated, smaller ztn tones do not pose a problem.
  22. If you re-edit a ZTN Sample and it is enabled in Preload you will have problems, You need to first remove the Sample from Preload to change or delete. Over time you will get used to the feature, just explore
