  1. Yup, after some experimenting I figured that out. Got it working now by using channels 1-4. Is it possible to override that setting and use different channels? My SK1 uses 1,2,and 3 and cannot be changed. Thanks all for the assistance.
  2. Brad, I'm using 2 (or 3) keyboards at a live gig and want to centralize all the controls, so the iPad app is a great solution. Choppin, For program changes I set the PX5 to use channel 5, (this works.). My Hammond already uses channel 1,2 and 3. Would CC's (like 07,11) need to go to different channels to make changes on the casio? ----- UPDATE - I did test this and sure enough, sending cc07 to channels 1-4 works, even though the keyboard is setup to receive on channel 5. Having a hard time understanding why that is. Any ideas? --- Thanks, mikeG
  3. I'm using MidiStudio on my iPad to control setting on my PX5. I'm able to change voices using CC00 and ProgramChange. I would like to be able to control the volume. I've setup the iPAd to use controller cc07 (also tried CC11), but the volume does not change on the keyboard. Any thoughts?
  4. I need to get a volume pedal for my PX5. I'm currently looking at the BOSS FV-50 stereo pedal. Any recommendations?
  5. Does anyone have any experience using a Lucas Nano or Yamaha StagePas to amp you keyboard?
  6. I'm looking to replace my Roland KC350 amp. I am using a PX5s and a Hammond SK1 and I'm not happy with the sound that comes out of the amp. The clarity of the voices seem to get washed out. We're doing small bars and clubs doing mostly 60s and 70s classic rock so I need some power. Any thoughts on using a stand-alone PA system to amp my boards? What other amps have you using? Any recommendation would be appreciated.
