I started tinkering with synths way back when the Moog Opus 3 first came out.  I've owned Roland JX-3p's, Juno 106, a Jupiter 6, Casio CZ101, Yamaha DX-21, DX-11 and DX7, QX-3 and a QY-700  Sadly they have all been sold.  Right now I use a Casio MZ-2000 into a Yamaha MJC8 which then controls a Yamaha TX81Z, Roland JV2080, Roland JX-03, Roland JU-06 and a Roland JP-08.  I'm also an avid user of a Maschine Studio and Ableton Push 2 all running  a dock mounted MacBook Pro 2.5 ghz Intel i5 chip with 16 gig of ram and a 24 inch Apple Cinema Display.
