Take a look at page "E-23" in the attached manual. This is really instructions for recording performances on the PX-5S but I think it also applies to playing pre-recorded audio files. although it may not say it specifically, I think the files you record get named "TAKE01.WAV", "TAKE02.WAV", ...) and so on, and the names of any audio files you want to play have to follow this format. You'll have to consult the manual, but I believe they have to be converted to WAV files, and have to have a particular naming convention to be played by the PX-5S.

Once you're in a bank, you should only have to press 1 button to go to another sound in that bank. So if you're on SS 1-1 and you want to go to 1-2, just press "2". The sequence you listed is correct if you're switching to settings in different banks though. If you want to use different settings consecutively, like within the same song, it would be a good idea to move them into the same bank

Maybe all this is related to a few issues I have been noticing. I had a personal conversation going with a member of this forum, and when I went back to check if there was any further reply, the forum wouldn't show me the existing posts, and a message at the top said I was "Banned from this conversation" ??!! I thought "Wow, what did I do wrong?". Another thing is that I can't "Follow a Topic" The button is greyed out. I also can't use a number of other links, like contacting a moderator. I assume these are all part of whatever security measures are being put in place to deal with the issues listed above. That makes me fell a little better. I thought I somehow screwed something up. I'm sure it will get sorted out soon.

Hi, I don't know if this is the place to post this or not, but I haven't found a better place for it. I can't follow topics because my "Follow Topic" button is greyed out and unusable. I went through my profile & settings hunting for some setting that would turn it on but to no avail. I perused the help section (briefly), and didn't find anything better than contacting "the moderating team" through the link at the bottom of the main page to report it. So, I went there to do that, and lo and behold, I can't click any of those links either! I then thought it must be my browser (Google Chrome), so I tried internet explorer and got the same result. Anyone know why this is happening, and how to fix it? Thanks!

Katie, I agree with the others - very nice & usable string sound. I like your organ sound from the other post as well. Are these in response to the thread where someone said the PX-5S didn't have any good string or organ sounds? I guess I'm not a expert at this point but they both sound very good to me.
