  1. I'm having a lot of trouble accessing the sounds from my Casio PX-5S in Logic Pro X. I open up a new Instrument track, open an External Instrument plugin, but the PX-5S doesn't show up as an option. My PX-5S is connected to my computer via MIDI through a Mbox 2. I thought the Mbox may have been the problem, so I tried connecting via USB MIDI, and that didn't work either. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  2. Thank you both for your comments. I'll start with Magic, Orbiting, Ice Castles, and Maxmillion. The sound I'm really hoping to achieve is a vintage, no frills, grainy washed out sound. I will keep experimenting and let you guys know if I have any success
  3. Has anyone had any luck building some good ambient stage settings on the PX-5S? I'm trying to write in the vein of Sigur Ros, Brian Eno, Boards of Canada, Tycho, etc., and I would really like to build some cool ambient stage settings. Anybody have one they can share, or have any tips on building my own?
  4. I am really interested in getting to know these stage settings, but since there are a lot of them I'm a little unsure of where to begin. Unfortunately, since there is no real demo to preview these, I have to find stage settings I'm willing to delete to try any of these out. Does anyone have any recommendations of good settings to start with? What are your favorites? Thanks so much!
  5. This would be truly helpful. I have a spredsheet right now keeping track of stage settings that I don't mind overwriting, but I've already messed up by overwriting good ones on accident. I know you can re-upload them, but it's a lot of steps that would be fixed by simply knowing what I'm about to overwrite. That being said, I love my keyboard. I should be a salesman for Casio... I've already gotten 3 people to buy one!
