  1. No polarity switch, however, I've heard its possible to do a little minor surgery to change the polarity of a pedal. Anyone know much about that?
  2. The pedal in question is a Yamaha FC-5 if that makes any difference.
  3. So i recently bought a sustain pedal and I've heard these can be a bit finicky with polarity and such but I'm having trouble switching the polarity. I've tried plugging it in before turning the keyboard on and after turning the keyboard on but both ways it is inverted, how can I fix this within the keyboard? I dug through the manual (it says theres info on E-65 but there isn't anything of this nature) and tried every menu I can find.
  4. Ya, I'm the OP from that thread, I'm taking a good look at that now to see if I can figure out how to do it.
  5. Thanks for the help, just what I happened to have up because I'm also in need of a mixer right now. Back to the topic: While browsing around synthtopia today I happened upon this http://www.synthtopi...ers/#more-40333 This is basically what I think would push this synthesizer into mind blowing territory (although I would prefer if it had a computer app that looked the same) but I also understand that the Jupiter is a much pricier item. However, there is that amazing little ledge there specifically for an iPad... Edit: Look at how elegant and easy that top picture looks by comparison of what the current XW software looks like
  6. Actually, while this is still derailed, I'm looking into some recording type things myself and wanted to make sure I'm understanding things right. I'm looking at buying an audio interface myself and wanted to make sure that a firewire interface (say, something like this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/mackie-onyx-1620i-firewire-mixer) allows you to record multiple tracks at once via firewire
  7. A good reference in the mean time: http://support.casio.com/download_files/008/DL/DATAEDITORS1-E1B.pdf
  8. I've had my XW-P1 for about a month now and love it but as most would admit, the user interface isn't always the friendliest and the computer interface leaves a lot to be imagined. Is there anything in the woodwork of a better computer interface? Something that looks more like a soft synth? This is the one thing I feel like Line 6 always gets right (sadly the tone usually isn't on that list in most of my experiences) and I feel like having a better layout to edit and create tones through your computer would put this synth on a whole new level.
