  1. The PX-5S AP is made for the stage... cuts through the mix beautifully.
  2. Thanks for the info. So you can only get it with the bundle? Thanks
  3. Hi gang, Where's "The Way it Is" AP download for the PX-5S? I typed the name in the search box but nothing. Thanks
  4. Hi gang, When I plug the PX-5S into my power strip do the batteries stop powering the unit? Also, when I turn the power strip off the unit stays on... is this the batteries kicking in? Thanks
  5. Hi Mike, Well I'll be @#$%!! I didn't know it was the "Modern Grand"... For live playing it beats my Kurz & RD700 hands down! BTW, looking forward to your SP video comparison with the other "giants".
  6. I like the HornSwell stage setting but I don't like being stuck with a dramatic sforzando all the time. How can I remove the "swell" effect or possibly have it on slider#1? Thanks
  7. Thank you Mike. BTW, I use the piano from your "Grand & Strings" setting for live gigs - damm that cut through the mix sweet!! You da man!!!!!!
  8. Hi Mike, When can we expect the download for the EP & AP you created for SW? Thanks Rick
  9. Thanks Mike!!! Sounds perfect... taking the time to put it together, you're awesome!!
  10. I've already used the PX-5S at a couple of gigs (even got rained on & it's still working great), I'm amazed at how well the piano cuts through the mix yet keeps the integrity of the piano sound intact. Even my old faithful Roland RD700GX doesn't sound this good in the mix & the FOH rocks. You guys are probably sick of hearing this but... why did I wait so long to get a PX-5S??????
  11. I see... Using the trill to get the "Shake" effect, that's very cool indeed. So Mike, is that how you achieved the "Brass Fall", using the phrase section in the arp? Man I'm liking it, but how do you program that in reverse... so at will there's a scoop up, scoop down or the shake? I'm kinda getting the trill but the doit is evading me... need help from the maestros out there. thanks
  12. Overall I'm loving the feel & sounds of the PX-5S and the brass tone is about the best there is. Mike Martin has a cool "Brass Drop" that's very effective, but does anyone have a "brass doit" ( gliss up... I would think the MM Brass Drop in reverse??) and more of what I'm in need of - a Brass shake? (check example in link 1:25 - 1"30)) 1:25 - 1:30http://youtu.be/Bn6VUeWPTMA Thanks,Rick
  13. Nicely done Kristian! Great for live application & definitely a keeper in my gigging arsenal... thanks.
  14. Hammond SK1, i had a Nord but the Hammond just feels & sounds more authentic. I've never tried the Casio SK1, but sounds interesting.
