  1. I don't recall the Clavinet tones, but select one that does not have a wah. Stevie played that Clav tone straight without effects unlike say, Higher Ground, where he did use a wah.
  2. While I have heard of them needing to be cleaned (sometimes, not to everyone), I have not heard of these ever wearing out. Some of us have some pretty old keyboards with these and they're still going.
  3. When did you purchase it and where? Can you contact the seller and see if they can provide support or a replacement? Note that I never used this word.
  4. I don't know if the CDP-S100 is a model that senses the type of sustain pedal you have inserted (there are two types, normally open or normally closed. When you press the pedal, it closes or opens, opposite of what it normally is), but make sure that you have the pedal plugged in before you turn the keyboard on. That's the first thing to try.
  5. Final Cut Pro X, though I don't know how that would work as a source for any keyboard, as it's a video editing app.
  6. No one here should be giving medical advice online. You should see a doctor, they won't diagnose you without some sort of exam, What I will say is that it's best to go after the root causes of these things. When I was experiencing some anxiety, I did Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) locally at the University of Houston. It worked wonders for me, and because it was done by psychology students (supervised by an experienced psychology doctor so we were in no danger), the cost for the treatment was low. I suggest you look up CBT from reputable sources online so you can understand how it might help you. I recommend it to anyone dealing with panic attacks and such based upon my experience and the research I've seen. Just know that I'm a lay person though. OTOH, as you probably know, high blood pressure can be a purely medical condition and if you are diagnosed with it, there are things like diet and exercise that can help as well as medication, but you should talk to your doctor. I know when my doctor has seen patients that seem to have high blood pressure when visiting in her office, she tells them to test themselves randomly throughout the day at home to determine if it's an ongoing condition or a spike from stress or something like that. Again, good luck, please take care of yourselves, and keep us updated if you choose.
  7. Both you guys, @Akshansh Khare - Alexand @Brad Saucier, take care of yourselves. There's lots of help available for what you're describing and I hope you both can avail yourselves of it.
  8. Inserting and removing a headphone jack won't void your warranty.
  9. It's actually a hardware issue, where the switch inside the headphone jack gets stuck, effectively telling the instrument there's a headphone plugged in when there isn't one any longer. Maybe you used the headphones and forgot? In your case, having the problem after using audio outs, that's a bit odd.
  10. I have seen cases where the switch inside the headphone jack gets stuck and inserting and removing a headphone jack in the plug works it free.
  11. To record audio you'll need to record the audio outs on the PX-760 to the audio ins on the Focusrite. You probably need 1/4" cables to do this, but I'm not sure what connectors the PX-760 has. USB out on the PX-760 only transmits MIDI data. (Another option would be to use a microphone to record the piano, but no one does that with a digital piano unless they want the sound of the room or something like that.)
  12. I have no idea if the SP-34 can be wired or connected to an earlier model like the PX-160. The only way I would know how is to get your hands on an SP-33 and see how those wires work, or if there's someone on here that has one and can test for you. I don't know of anywhere that the wiring specs for the SP-33 nor the SP-34 are published. If you're lucky, there's a one-to-one relationship and you would just have to connect them. And yes, Casio could sell a few more SP-34 units if they'd sell a kit that would make it work on PX-x60 models like yours, but don't hold your breath. I'm just glad they finally shipped a three-pedal unit that didn't require the stand.
  13. Yes, the real versions do something similar.
  14. It depends on the model. Some Casio models do have the metronome functions on the panel. My guess is, and it's only a guess, that Casio thinks the audience for this model do not prioritize the metronome.
  15. I've seen times where what's happening is the switch in the headphone jack gets physically stuck. If you try what @Brad Sauciersuggests and it doesn't work, try plugging and unplugging headphones a few times to see if you can free up that switch. And if this model has more than one headphone jack, make sure you do both.
  16. Is the power adapter a Casio model or a generic one? Especially if it's a generic one, or even if it's not, you might try running it off of batteries to see if it works that way. If it does, that would tell you the power adapter is either faulty or not adequate. The Casio power adapter is usually the ADA12150, though if you're not in the U.S. it may be different, I don't know. Even though you aren't getting the No Media error, the next thing I would try is the instructions you find here. Keep us updated!
  17. Would you be willing to share your WAV file so we can see if it skips for us? Does each WAV file skip in the same place for that song or does it change each time you play it?
  18. You don't even know if this is changeable by programming.
  19. They put the headphone jack on the front so it's easily accessible for those using headphones instead of searching around the back of the instrument. Most people see having it on the front as an improvement. My idea for you is, get a 1/4" plug with no wires, probably from an electronics store, and cut off or remove most of it leaving just enough to grab or attach when you do want to remove the plug from the jack. A quick search turned up this. You might be able to unscrew the barrel from the plug and cut off the wiring points (not shown). Then when you want to unplug it, screw the barrel back on and pull.
  20. The new CT-X models, PX-S models, and other series from the last few years share a lot of features including many of these songs.
  21. Nice work! There is a thread or two for some other models regarding what the songs are, and I suspect the PX-S models are similar. Compare and see what you find.
  22. Unfortunately spammers have made things tougher for everyone else. Most of you haven't seen it, but we've had cases where spammers have made dozens of posts before they were caught and banned. Fortunately the forum software makes it easy for us to clean up, just mark that poster as a spammer and all of their posts get hidden. Once a person gets established as a good citizen, they can participate more freely.
  23. There may be a setting where you can disable Auto Power Off. Check your manual or find it online at the Casio site and search the PDF.
  24. My first guess is always dirty keyboard sensors. Sometimes compressed air between the offending keys (more descriptions can be found elsewhere on these forums) will do the trick. If you're savvy and it's not under warranty, you can try taking it apart and cleaning the sensors. But if you're not wanting to do that or it's still under warranty, authorized service is your best bet. Also, since two of the keys doing it are the same note, I do wonder if it's another problem besides dirty key contacts.
