I never downloaded the previous update 1.05? .. when i go to casio page it only has the new update on there to download, 1.07 my question is, can i download the new firmware update without having done the previous one?

Yes, someone on youTube has done a side by side comparison, it should be easy to find if you search for it. the Behringer one sounds just like the Pro one, slight differences but would totally pass for the real thing

thank you Chas and jokeyman for your insights on the CZ , i found it very insightful and fascinating. also satisfying as I've had this question for quite awhile now and finally got around to asking it here.

Has anyone tried recreating a CZ patch on the XW -p1 or G1? I have never owned the CZ series of synths so I am curious if someone has successfully done this. if you have, I'd love to read what the end result was. I really like the CZ line but wouldnt have clue one as to how to go about making a CZ patch using the CZ waves in the XW.

I hope you give us an update after you get your XW-P1, on how its similar to the Quadra.

PCM panini OMG that's hilarious.. good one. and yes I have to agree as well that the phaser in the xw-p1 isnt that great, but that aside, it certainly has other cool features that make up for it.

Ever since I first saw the XW-p1 and read it's feautures, I've always kinda thought of it as a modern Arp Quadra of sorts. anyone have thoughts on this?
