  1. This track was inspired by a Hex Layer patch I created on the P1 earlier that day.. Only the sample was coming from the PC.. It reminded me of work I was making in the 90's... A strange track and most of the sounds are self programmed by me on the P1.. https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/your-spirit-still-here
  2. Thanks for the nice comments, well in the 80's I only had a SK-1 from Casio and that had a really 80's sound hihihi
  3. Hello Casio Fans, Well been a while since I made a song on the P1 as base instrument. Called the track Spring and inspired on a patch I was programming on the P1 itself. Only the samples came out of the PC but played with the P1 as MIDI controller.. https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/spring-2015
  4. Very experimental this one...I really like it..

  6. Thanks XW Addict and Gary for the nice comments on this experimental track out of the P1
  7. This is a very experimental track with al the base sounds coming from the P1 accept the sample but played those in via the P1 its keyboard.... All programmed by myself... It amazing how far the filters of the P1 can be tweaked... https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/astranged-p1
  8. This sounds pretty good and really liking this song...
  9. On of the great things on the P1 is the HEX layer...here's my silent night with an HEX layer programmed organ that give the illusion that you are standing at the back of the church... Happy Holidays everyone https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/stille-nachthex
  10. Hi Gary, Well the sampling function I can do thru the PC itself, so for programming like on the P1 there was little room on the G1. And I like just programming new sounds and now I can do that in many ways, really like the drawbar organ on the P1. So I am very happy having finally the P1 for a nice price.
  11. Thanks Gary for your nice comment on this forum and Soundcloud..
  12. Because the G1 was not to my liking enough was boxing it in en retourning it to the webshop... Online I found the P1 second hand in good shape and for a nice price so bought that machine today.... Beeing fooling around with just the internal presets of the machine... https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/casio-xw-p1-first-session-2014 Greetings and good holidays to everbody on this forum... Ramon, Netherlands..
  13. Hello David and Gary, Thanks for the comments on my first and last song on the G1 because I have bought the P1 today and was retourning the G1 because I missed to much on that machine. Sorry Gary that this song could not enjoy you but hopefully the P1 song I'm posting soon is more to your liking..
  14. Hello Everyone, Well since a few days the lucky owner of the G1 from Casio... This morning bit fooling around with the rock preformance... Just Audio, I'm figuring out how to get MIDI working properly in Cubase 7... Hope you like it.. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2015... https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/casio-xwg1-rock
  15. That's thru, I have decided that the track needs some work.... If I record a new version of it then I posted again..
  16. Thanks everybody, It took a lot of programming but the result is quit good....
  17. Thanks for the compliment. Nice to read such nice comments on my CTK song....
  18. Micheal Garrison his music put's me thru dark times in my live. So to thank him I recorded a song what I play very much on his CD with the CTK 7200. The sound of this album from him sound pretty cheesy in comparison with Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. And the Casio did a really nice job to come pretty close to the original. It was also a first pattern recording on the 7200 and I seem to get the hang of it to make my own style for the song I want to record at that moment. This style was pretty simple but it did the job pretty nicely. https://soundcloud.com/ramon1973/micheal-garrison1
  19. Thanks Ted, This is really a strange way of loading things but your correct when checking the manual again but it's written by someone who has not an organized mind because it flies from back to forward in the pages and it's very confusing sometimes... writing your instructions right away in my Casio handy guide so that I don't have to grabb the manual al the time
  20. Well a lot of keyboards even much higher in price range with MIC input producing noise or hissing sounds because the MIC is not shielded correctly.. With an XLR input the noise almost is gone away..but thinking to expensive for Casio to make such an input.. Well really hoping that Casio is reading with us on this topic. There is a lot that could be improved for the better. Yamaha is so far ahead that Casio is having to take very high jumps to get anywhere near.. Never understud why they did not buy the Technics Music Division when they where quiting the keyboard market. It would have made the position for Casio at these times a lot better..
  21. Yes hoping that Casio makes the next keyboards with a bit more on the fly controls...and not having to go in al kinds of menu's to sort the volume out... I have discovered that you can record some off the changes like volume and pan so if you want to preform live it is maybe an solution on the gig to play the melody and the other part in a pre recorded song but it's not flexibel enough once preforming live..
  22. I have tried 4 as well as an 8 GB card, the problem stays the same unfornately..will try to edit an excisting rithym pattern and then save it on the SD card but can not seem to get in the load or saving menu in the card function....
  23. Thnx Geria, Met mij gaat het prima hoor Ok well gonna try to connect the keyboard with the PC and installing the data manager for the CTK 7200 but I was really hoping that I could copy files directly to the map MUSICDAT without use of de manager...the WK 3300 did it also without the manager so that's I was puzzeled. Thanks for the tip and letting know if it worked now.
