  1. The Casio CS-67 is perfect for the home. The bar is probably very important in supporting the PX-5S chassis, else the keyboard could be easily damaged if someone applied pressure or accidentally fell/stumbled on/to the middle of the keyboard. I have the same setup and same issue, currently I just unscrew the bar from the keyboard each time. I believe there was an earlier version of this stand which had the bar actually permanently attached to the stand instead of the keyboard and therefore acted more like a table stand. As my frustration mounts with the bar arrangement.....this is what I am thinking of doing: A workaround could be to drill a hole through the supporting plate and each end of the bar and attach the bar with metal screws. Or use bolts, it would need top part of bar countersunk and use bolt with countersunk bolt head, or alternatively, at each end drill a bigger hole in the top of the bar to allow bolt head to pass through (or feed bolt in thru the side opening) to a smaller hole on the bottom of the bar and supporting plate, then fasten nut at each end. Can use the top hole to help tighten the bolt with driver. However you would need to be very precise with the location of each hole. Do not leave keyboard attached while drilling - use clamps, mark out with Blu-tac or simular sticky play doh for the exact spot the bar needs to sit on the supporting plates left and right. Hope this helps. If anyone has a better idea please let us know. Given the PX-5S/350 chassis appears as a sort of current Casio standard. The option to permanently bolt this bar to the stand, would be an easy change to make at the manufacture, with little or no cost. The current bar screws that attach directly to the keyboard could be replaced with thumb screws if required. Casio please make this more flexible, it would also make the stand stronger, especially when the 3 pedal board is not needed for the PX-5S. My guess is the current floating bar makes it easier to line everything up for 300 series users, but not so good for the flightiness of the PX-5S. Perhaps Casio can comment why the bar arrangement is manufactured in its current form.
