Problem solved, got a new keyboard in and working now so it was the piano usb connection.

Should have realized I could have just found the diagram for the cord and that would show the port as well... Thanks

Anyone know the diagram for the usb port such as the positive and negative for power. Should have those two and two comm as well, Should be the same along the board, but its a lk280.

That's what doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe the driver was never uploaded to the keyboard? I do remember my first one loading on the tablet, but this one has nothing happen when plugging in. Anyone know the pin layout for the usb output? Maybe something is up with power or ground output/input.

Weird question, but just read that the specs don't lists windows 8, although my tablet and computer run that. I wouldn't think that would be the problem would it?

I did find an extra cord and tried to no use as well as trying some other drivers just incase.

Yes which is why its confusing me. I also tried my laptop, and still nothing. Doesn't show it listed in the hub listing when plugging in either. I went through and turned off the setting that turns the usb power off also.

So I have an lk280 at my house that I use synthesia on a Samsung tablet with. It worked fine. I am overseas now and decided to get a lk280 to practice with here so bought another one and have my same tablet. For some reason I cannot connect the keyboard to the tablet here. Everything in the program Is the same, the only difference is a new keyboard and cords. I have the usb printer coming out the back of the keyboard to the usb, and then a female usb to a mini usb male for my tablet. It doesn't show anything connecting for some reason. I don't remember having to change any settings in the keyboard, and there is no disc or software that has tried uploading when plugging in. I can however use the sd card with midi songs I downloaded on. I'm restricted on tools here or I would multimeter the cord to make sure its good. Is there a chance that the usb port is not working? Everything else on the keyboard seems fine including the lighted keys.
