  1. I've moved this to the correct section. Yes, it's definitely possible to use the adapter's Bluetooth audio and MIDI capabilities at the same time. There will be some latency on the audio side, however, due to the nature of Bluetooth audio in general.
  2. Hello all, I've uploaded four collections of PX-S3000 Registrations (EP & Clav, Splits, Orchestral and Motion Pads) to the Downloads section. Links with descriptions are below. For those interested, these include some of the sounds I used in our PX-S3000 tone editing webinar. Hope you enjoy them! Thanks, -Rich

  7. Hello all, Thanks for your patience. The PX-560 version 1.16 firmware updater is now available at https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=2629. It corrects the issue described here. -Rich
  8. I just want to clarify that the keys themselves are slimmer. The entirety of the case is slim, including the mechanism beneath/behind the keys, but the visible/playable portions of the keys are full size.
  9. Hi folks, Here's a quick video showing you some of the ways you can use the multi-function pads on the MZ-X500. Though this video focuses on the MZ-X500, The MZ-X300 also has four pads. The main differences are: 1. They are fixed-velocity 2. They are unlit 3. They can play chords, but not chord sequences 4. They do not perform the articulation style phrases, only melodic phrases Hope this helps, -Rich
  10. Although the Music Presets themselves don't automatically select a Pad Bank, you can definitely assign chord progressions to the pads and save them in your own Bank. Then, you can save the whole thing (including the Music Preset" as a Registration. To do this, first choose the Music Preset you want (or create your own). Then go to System Settings, select Pad, then touch "Data Setting", then touch "Chord," then touch "Seq." From here you can select a preset progression, or touch "User," then "Exit". From there you can record your own progression. After that, save the Pad Bank, then store a Registration. The next time you select that Registration, the Music Preset and Pad Bank (and just about everything else) will be recalled and ready to go. Hope this helps, -Rich
  11. The PX-560 is not a replacement for the PX-5S. The PX-560 inherits lots of the Hex Layer tech from the PX-5S, melded with what we know and love from the other PX-series: Rhythms, Registrations, Music Presets, etc. It also has the new Color Touch Interface, speakers, etc. The PX-5S still has more realtime controllers, more MIDI controller functionality, battery power, etc.
  12. Hello! Yes, I'm in Nashville with Mike, and we've been working very hard to get the new goodies ready for Summer NAMM. It's going to be a great show for sure. Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I'm very happy to be working with Mike, who's been a friend for years, and also very happy to join Casio, for whom I've always had tremendous respect. Some of you know I've spent the last 10 years demonstrating, developing, programming, and basically living with great electronic musical instruments. I started out with Casio keyboards, as so many of us did. My childhood PT-1 and CTK-510 are still working, and now have places of honor in my office. Casio's come a long way since then, and it's been amazing to watch it happen. I'm especially thrilled that Mike and I get to surprise the world with what Casio's instruments can do today, and to help make them even better for tomorrow. Exciting days are ahead! Thanks, -Rich
