  1. I am having an issue where I am playing and all of a sudden, clusters of notes start sounding. They are loud and twangy. It will happen 4-6 times then stop for a period of time before happening again. It happened 3 times in a recent 3 hour gig. This started a few weeks ago when I sent my board in because one on my keys would trigger loudly and sound twangy when played. The tech recommended all contacts be changed out and now I am left with this problem. Guy at the repair shop was nice but had no idea what was happening. Any thoughts. I still love playing this board. Thanks
  2. I am unable to find your SS for Feels like the First Time.  Where should I look?

  3. My band is playing the Cake version of war pigs. I am looking for an air raid siren sound to use. Does anyone know if this is available? Thanks
  4. Thanks for your response. I start at Stage setting 0-0 (Grand Piano). I then move through the different piano tones using the + and - buttons, while still onstage setting 0-0. After moving through several piano tones, the pedal no longer sustains. If I manually hit "Bank 0-0", the board returns to the Grand Piano stage setting and the pedal now sustains again. If I scroll through the piano tones again, the sustain function again disappears and I have to reset it by going back to bank 0-0 again. Thanks again for responding.
  5. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I set the the board to Stage setting 0-0. Then I scroll through the different piano options using the + and- buttons. After moving through several different piano sounds, my foot pedal will no longer sustain. If I manually go back to Stage setting 0-0, it restores the sustain function for another couple of changes then stops again. This is driving me crazy and I am wondering if anyone knows why this is happening and if there is a fix. **Confession. I have not updated the firmware. Thanks
  6. I have edited a stage setting and want to save it overwriting the original stage setting. How is this done?
  7. I am looking to add either a ventilator or burn to enhance the organs. Would either of these work with my PX-5S?
  8. BradMZ, Thank you for taking the time to respond to my posts. To make sure that I am being clear: When I go to stage settings the pedal does work to adjust rotary speaker speed on the organ sounds. It acts as a damper pedal on piano and electric piano sounds at first. After I switch between piano or electric piano sounds 3-4 times, the damper effect stops. It does not start again until I exit stage settings back to the tone banks and sometimes I need to with tones a few times before the damper function returns. Referring to my last response about Pedal 1 saying "off", should it be "off" or "on" under the stage settings? Thanks for your help!
  9. Brad, It doesn't seem to happen when I stay at 0-0 and just change tones. Scott, Pedal1 says off. Any further thoughts? Thanks
  10. I have tested the pedal using various piano/electric piano patches. The sustain will work at first, then after a number of patch changes it will stop working. If I change the patch several more times, it begins to sustain again. This is driving me crazy and causing problems while playing live. Has anyone else experienced this issue and/or have a possible solution. Thanks, Mike
  11. Thanks for the response and welcome. Up tip now I have loved this keyboard. Great on the ears and the back! I have 2 different brand pedals. Been using an M Gear went out and bought an Onstage. I don't notice it happening with a particular sound. I have noticed that when I use the onstage pedal with an organ patch, it activates the Leslie effect. The M Gear pedal does not do this. Very weird.
  12. My damper pedal intermittently stops working. It will work for a while then stop. It happens when I change patches. I have tried the following with no success in restarting the functionality of the pedal: Reboot keyboard Buy a different pedal reset the system Does anyone have any thoughts or fixes? Thanks, Waido
