  1. The Blue Danube ABCA Just Piano - Bosendorfer on Yamaha Montage - video below PX Grand Piano - see the attachment The Blue Danube ABCA .WAV
  2. Any DSP can cause time latency significant enough to be noticed (even good receivers have such problem) I am not surprised. Is there latency on S1000 and S3000? As far as I remember they both have audio blue-tooth.
  3. Recording directly on the instruments. (both instruments have audio recording function) I used to use Tascam, but it has by far lower quality than either Yamaha or Casio. mp3 is converted from wav created by Privia. The soundtrack from Montage is merged into the video replacing the original sound from the mic.
  4. Arabesque Bergmuller PX360 Grand Piano.mp3 as I promised the same piece with the sound of the Grand piano from PX 360.
  5. Thanks for the feedback! I have an audio version of the same recording on PX 360. This version will be submitted here right at the time of the premiere.
  6. What do you mean quantize? Sync to a measure? Sync with a time signature? Sync to certain shortest note duration? As far as I understand all notes within a chord(accompaniment) are already quantized. The start is synchronized to the measure beginning. Only variable part is a time signature. There is a section in manual which described this subject.
  7. Thanks! I thought it is too bulky. The solo supposes to be vocal. Also without lyrics, it seems too long to me But the way, there is the lyrics for it. It is in Russian and I do not have any singer to record it. If anybody is willing to try it I can provide the lyrics.
  8. I think it is always in factory settings after power-cycling. There is no option to reset it to the factory settings. https://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/Web_PX160-ES-1B_EN.pdf
  9. I use a condenser mic for recording. It requires 48V phantom power. Normally the power is included in the audio adapter which also provides a USB audio interface. Another option is a dynamic microphone. The dynamic one does need addition power and it may have a built-in USB interface as blue yeti. such mic as blue yeti will be sufficient. If you wan to go with a condenser setup, check a bundle like "Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio Recording Bundle"
  10. There a workaround to record live(without a computer) using some recorder such as Tascam DP-006 You can use audio output from CDP connected directly to the recorder. After all the recording completed it can be mixed down to wav file. Ableton Live is not free. It provides a 30 days trial period. The authorization instruction are here: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209773585-Authorizing-Live-9 There is an option to "Authorize later". I think that what you need to use during the trial period. If you did not create an account at ableton.com it make sense to create one. You will be able to find an addition information about your options in your profile. The easiest DAW would be bandlab.com
  11. You just need to assign to a track an output device. It can be a virtual instrument that comes with DAW or MIDI device(such as PX). For Ableton Live you do not need to wait for any e-mail Check the reference below https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/
  12. Same with me Just curious - does it sound as a snare drum performance?
  13. I have an account at BandLab. It is very decent light version of DAW . (it is very easy to use) https://www.bandlab.com To use it create an account at bandlab.com Login to the website. Click "Create " and "Let's Make Music", it starts Mix-Audio DAW. This DAW runs in the internet browser. Cakewalk Sonar is obsolete. (the original post is about "Cakewalk sonar") Sonar runs a different line of products called Sonar (four editions). It looks like BandLab uses Cakewalk core in their Mix-Audio. Mix-Audio requires Chrome. Most likely due to WebMIDI API fully supported only by 3 browsers - Chrome, Opera, Android WebView. So if you prefer MS Edge it will ask you to install Chome
  14. Cakewalk Sonar would be the worst chose now: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021858293-What-happened-to-Cakewalk-SONAR-What-happens-to-everything-I-paid-for- You can get Studio One. Prime edition is free. Ableton Live has 30 days trial. BitWig has a demo version (like 30 days). The list of DAWs, is long but as far as I understand Cakewalk Sonar is discontinued.
  15. I can recommend to get demo for https://www.arturia.com/dx7-v/overview
  16. This sounds as common phenomena. You just used to P80 sound that's all. I went through this many times. It takes some time to adapt to a new tone.
  17. As far as i know there is only one system track, therefore I do not understand "I chose a different 'system track'." Since it works fine after recording of both parts, I assume the both parts were recorded on different tracks. It looks like a wrong configuration in FL. Make sure FL tracks are using correct MIDI output channels. What channels on PX you use for piano and drums? Easy way to transfer the recording to FL . Create two tracks in FL. Configure tracks to corresponding tracks on PX (for the piano and drums). Hit record in FL and start playback of you MIDI recording on PX.
  18. If you take away the melody part this would be closer to "Hit the road Jack". 🎵
