  1. Yes, but there'll be a photo and one day, if someone open his monster, perhaps,.. This photo will serve as archive.
  2. Happyrat1, you're right. I thought about this option but I not wanted to buy batteries because, here, in Reunion Island, batteries are very expensive... but I think it's a good solution.I'm going to buy batteries. Scott Hamlin, I think you're also right because the yellow wire has never been welded because it's very clean on its denuded part. I'm going to take a photo this afternoon and post it !
  3. Hello, Where can I find a XW-G1 Service Manual ? I think it'll be shown inside. I've written to Casio France, but no answer for the moment !
  4. The principal is to arrive even if the way is long ! Every minutes I discover the XW-G1, every minutes I realize that Casio made a wonderful synth. I bought my XW-G1 in second hand with a man who thought he known all the possibilities of the XW-G1. In my island, the XW-G1 has never been sold. In France, it is discontinued. Before buyingit, I asked the seller about Midi options and Step Sequencer, Arpeggiator modifications... He phoned the store where he bought the synth and they answered that transporting the Step Sequencer in midi mode was impossible. Also, it was impossible to create your own arpeggiator sequence. When I received it, I phoned the seller to inform him about the good reception and said that in fact, the store was wrong. He answered me : I don't be aware about these possibilities. I regret to have sold it !
  5. Yes, I've seen... just I ask permission before !
  6. Thanks, I've tried to find it but without success. I'm wearing glasses but I'm going to see my doctor to make me some news !
  7. Thanks, I've read some FAQs but not all... it's exact ! My fault !
  8. Well, I've try to do a little routine with the step sequencer... just to use User waves instead of common instruments. The problem is now to export it to my DAW. I can record the pattern in WAV mode... This is OK. But, If I want to export the sequence in Midi mode ? Is it possible ? Even if there's only the note...
  9. Wow, that's very nice ! Can I download the file to understand how it's made ?
  10. Yes, I'm trying to keymap a simple sample into 2 octaves !
  11. It works fine ! I'm going to try with the Data Editor software now !
  12. Wow, I understand the logic ! I'm going to try You know... with the XW-G1 I have the impression that all you want... become possible ! It is for that reason I bought a XW-G1 ! The french expression is : XW-G1, c'est une usine à gaz... it means... XW-G1 can do a lot... but you have to learn how ! Thanks for all
  13. Hello, I've received last week my XW-G1 ! I live in a little french tropical Island near Mauritius Island named La Réunion, so, the XW-G1 arrived by postal. When I received it, some keys were blocking a little so I decided to open the XW-G1 to see what's the problem. the white grease was absent in some places. I've seen that a little yellow wire was not welded, near the battery compartment. If someone could tell me why this yellow wire is not welded... Otherwise, the XW-G1 works perfectly ! It's a very powerful machine. I love it !
  14. By the way, I have a question concerning the sample routine... Once I have sampled my voice or a guitar riff... How can I play it on all the keys ? In fact, I would like to transform a sample into a new instrument.
  15. Hello, A question, can I send midi informations thru my Roland Integra 7 routing all the midi messages in my DAW Cubase 5 ? And the Arpeggiator is sending midi messages ? It's the major information I could not find anywhere. I wrote to Casio France, but, they don't want to answer me !
