  1. Greg, here it is. This time I spelled Casio correctly! 😄 Casio PX-560M Rotary Setting.pdf
  2. Some of the organs were in the regular tone bank, some (with names like123467 MW) are hex layers sounds. I edited the DSP effect and changed it to Rotary (on the 123467 MW Hex Layer sound I chose Drive Rotary). I'm attaching a PDF of this sound so you can see the settings. I adjusted the slow rate, fast rate, rise acceleration, etc. and saved the tone to a Registration. With this Registration selected I went to Menu>Controller, and pressed Enter by Modulation Edit, and selected Speed for the Target. I re-saved the Registration. Every time I select that registration, the Mod Wheel will change the speed of the rotary effect. If you have multiple organ tones saved with the Rotary effect as part of the sound, you can call them up in that registration and the effect will work since the controller is assigned. I hope this helps! Caasio PX-560M Rotary Setting.pdf

I edited the DSP effect of 8 tones on the PX-560M and created registrations with the mod wheel controlling the rotary speaker speed. Enjoy!
  4. These look very cool; I foresee a lot of Christmas/birthday sales. I think the USB controller aspect is good, too; I know a lot of people doing notation work that just want a simple controller but would like sounds built-in. I'm working on a music book for a company right now, using my PX-560M and Sibelius. I'm listening to the piano of the Casio through its speakers rather than using Sibelius's built-in piano, or VSTs. The new CTs would work the same way.
  5. Lou, I don't have a 780 or similar hardware (I have a PX-560), but will probably be in a store that has one in a couple of days. Did you press and hold function, then press the Rhythm Editor button? Often these types of dual button pushes work that way, rather than both at the same instant.
  6. Chuck, the Nord bag looks good! I bought a Gator bag, which I'm satisfied with. The idea of wheels on the bag like the Nord's, while it still being somewhat flexible, is good. Its not that the keyboard is heavy, but less stress on the shoulders and wrist picking up and carrying the instrument. I used a Nord Electro for years with the bag (no wheels on that one); their bags seem very durable. My Gator bag is this model.
  7. Nice! It reminded me of late 70s/early 80s Tangerine Dream. Good stuff.
  8. This composition, "Night Lights", uses only sounds from the PX-560M. I recorded it with Cubase, using its reverbs and delays. Thanks for listening! https://soundcloud.com/roho/night-lights
  9. Sounds good! The Casio looks retro, of course, and with my encounters with the Minilogue, I think it looks equal parts retro and modern. Excellent sounds and mix.
