  1. Is there a way to take a factory preset Hex Layer and after using the editor to change some of the envelopes on several individual layers, how might I either save those changes in place or rename and move what I’ve created to one of the “user tones” (101 – 200)? I’ll admit I’m very new to this instrument, but it seems I’m have to do quite a bit of “fumbling around” do to the lack of detailed information within the PX-560 User’s Guide about Hex Layers. For instance, last evening I spent time playing around with Hex Layer number 074, “Sample&Hold”. After placing that Hex Layer in Upper 1, I opened it up with the Edit link and soloed each of the six layers, changed a few envelopes, volumes etc. and in time got that Hex Layer sounding to my liking. Not knowing what to do next in order to “save” my changes, I tried storing them in an open Bank and Area. Then hoping for the best, I returned to the main screen by pressing Grand Piano, which brought me back to the PX560’s start up settings. Then I pressed the newly created Bank and Area number I’d been working on to see if the changes were saved. Hex Layer “Sample&Hold” was indeed in Upper I, but upon playing I immediately noticed my changes did not come back. Not wanting to waste anymore time “fumbling around” and since Casio for some reason omitted really explaining how to edit and store Hex Layers, I’ll have to rely on my other forum uses to help me out.
  2. Am I correct in assuming downloaded sound files from the PX-5s section here will not work on my PX560 and that I should only be looking at the PX560 section of "Downloads"?
  3. After literally searching the world, I’ve ordered this Ritter gig bag from Thomann in Germany. http://www.thomann.de/gb/ritter_rkp2_keyboard_1340310170_brd.htm I believe it will be of a better build than a Privia bag, possibly a Gador, yet still lightweight with strong handles for getting my PX560 to and from gigs and still offering a degree of protection. Ritter had other bags with what looked like firmer sides, more protective padding and wheels, but for me the price was over my budget. I also looked at Soundwear bags, but couldn’t find the one I wanted via a European store who would ship to the US and Soundwear's website didn’t offer a “shop” or “shopping cart” link on their site. My bag should arrive this week and I’ll be putting it to the test right away. Will post my thoughts for anyone interested.
  4. I suppose a SanDisk "Cruzer Glide" 8GB thumb drive I have will work for these download transfers?
  5. Thanks BradMZ, that makes life easier.
  6. Just starting to make my way around the PX560 and already have come across a situation concerning Registrations. I’ve created (stored) a Registration and would like to know is there is a way to update it with a few changes to “Balance” between Upper 1 and Upper 2, along with a Transpose change. Can I make those changes and then just re-store in the original Bank and Area #? ( I hope, I hope...) Or can I somehow just delete the stored information on that Bank and Area # and start over? I’m sure as I create more registrations I’ll want or need to refine some settings from time to time. I don’t want to continue making new Registrations that are really just updates to previous ones. Know what I mean? Advise please.
  7. I’m awaiting delivery of my new PX560. For anyone out there who is toting one of these around for live performances, I need recommendations for a quality gig bag. Would appreciate advise.
