  1. I have been Gigging a PX 330 since 2011 with no reliability problems of any kind & Have just purchased a PX 560 (also just sold a WK 3500 that I got in about 2004 & that also never failed!!) I also read that apparently Casio has the least number of 'send backs' of any manufacturer !!
  2. When I go into the effect editing page onto Rotary & choose 'Speed' the Leslie works fine slow & fast with acceleration/Deceleration using the 2 edit increment buttons, but I can find no way of doing it once I leave the editing page. How can I control the slow/fast Rotary from the Mod Wheel or the 3 knobs or any other buttons ? & can I switch between other Organs whilst still being able to use the 'Leslie' Slow/Fast
  3. Hi does anyone know if it is possible to edit any Parameter on the PX 560 to slightly lengthen the initial 'Fall off' of the the upper notes of the Piano (s) as I find that this is one of the few things I can fault on ALL Privia's (even my old 330 !!) & effectively stops them 'singing' in the upper register on slow legato pieces . I was hoping to edit a Piano & then as a split, save the Standard Piano as lower & middle & the 'edited' one as the upper part so that the whole of the Piano 'sings' I did see a post of Mike Martin a while back talking about a similar edit on a PX 5s but can't find it again !!
  4. Thankyou Simone , I will have a play around with it & see what I can create !!

    Rotary effect

As a new owner of the PX 560 (after a PX 330) I am finding it a bit of a sharp learning curve ! Does anybody know how I (a) Access the many 'other' listed effects such as Wah-Wah & Rotary /Leslie simulation as I can only seem to find the basic Reverb/Chorus page ? (B) If I find Rotary can I make the modulation wheel control Slow/Fast speeds & can it simulate the gradual increase/decrease in speed? Sorry if these questions are a bit basic for you all but I am finding quite a lot of 'gaps' in the manual !!
  6. I see that some people are saying that the PX 560 doesn't sound as good as their old Keyboards, (all I know is that my old gear isn't in the same league !!) I don't know if this helps but I almost bought a Korg Havian 30 because when I compared them side by side on their own internal Speakers the Korg sounded much better BUT when I compared them on a high quality pair of Headphones the PX was far more 'alive' & when I put them both through my SR(Schertler) High end powered Speakers the PX 560 absolutely Mullered the Havian & I duly ordered one .Of course the Korg isn't helped by only having one poxy Headphone Socket out ! What were Korg thinking ? At a Stroke they killed possibly half of their potential Market, (Spoilt the Ship for a Ha'pennys worth of tar !!)
  7. I have just got a PX 560 after using & Gigging a PX 330 for a few years & it is brilliant. However I am a bit stuck with the 3 knob/Modulation wheel operation. I have successfully assigned 2 functions to each Knob but cannot find the 'selector' to tell it which of the 2 to control/not control ,So for example on Knob 1, if I assign 'Low Frequency' ( assign 1) & 'Upper 2 volume' (assign 2) when I use the knob it alters both The upper 2 volume AND THE LOW FREQUENCY !! I have had to get round it for now by selecting 'no assign' on one of the 2 options & saving it as a Registration but surely there must be a 1-2/A-B selector switch somewhere ? Also I read on another forum that the PX5s has a Piano patch called something like 'Piano altered attack' or similar & Mike Martin said that it could be reproduced on a PX 560 by altering 'just a couple of Parameters, does anyone know what these parameters & settings are ?
