  1. Ah, my bad. I meant to post this in xw-p1 specific.
  2. So, I've figured out an answer to my last thread and that was to use the mixer to choose a sound for each individual channel. But now I can't figure out how to save those parts between turning on and off the keyboard. Every time I power it back on, all of the tones that I selected have reverted to what they were before. Any help on this?
  3. Okay, so there's a section on dp where I can pick patch changes and it also has a spot that says bank 0 and bank 32 and I can enter in numbers but none of them seem to do anything. This is the only spot I've found with anything related to bank numbers in dp. I've tried entering in the bank numbers combined with the patch numbers from the book and it will still default to GM and if I pick a patch from the drop down it will change the bank 0 and bank 32 to "-".
  4. Hi everyone! I've been looking for help with getting this to work and thought I might try this forum. I have an xw-p1 connected to my computer using USB and I'm running a Windows 7 machine that I built myself. I'm using Digital Performer 8 for my DAW. Dp8 reads it as Casio USB in my midi devices. The problem I'm having is trying to play several sounds from the xw-p1 on individual midi tracks at the same time. So I can have a bass sound on one midi track and a square wave on another track and then maybe a pad on a third. Dp8 allows me to choose from 128 unnamed patches through a drop down menu for each track. But all of these are set to general midi patches from the xw-p1 instead of being able to choose from the wide range of sounds available. I've managed to get one track so each patch corresponds to the solo synth section of the xw-p1. But any time I make another midi track, all of the patches are just GM. What do I do to access all of the patches through my DAW?
