Hello:
I have a good friend that recently purchased a used Casio WK-500 that she is very happy with until a few hours of use.
Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the left channel.
The on-board, left channel speaker began generating a hissing, popping static noise when the keyboard is played.
She was able to test the speaker output through both headphones and a keyboard amp, and the same left channel static popping continues to occur.
The keyboard was missing an AC adapter, and the keyboard is currently running on batteries only, so I am wondering if this is part of the problem?
The batteries have been flipped and the static/hiss/pop still occurs.
Wondering if this is a power issue/ something that can be repaired, or something that is not worth the money or time.
Any thoughts appreciated.
