  6. maybe you should try the string ensembles as a pad....they aren't wierd at all....but....you've probably looked at them all ready.....they dont always say pad or anything.....just my two cents.....you could try them with a lot of reverb or delay and such ????

  8. ok ...so i've chosen an organ sound then try out different reverb settings on the fly switching from stadium to long delay? and my screen freezes ...and...i have to do an on off hard shut down...which fixes it....anyone else getting this? do i need to not touch the piano while switching revrb settings or also do i have to wait for the tone to stop reverberating? hmmmmmm this is on the 560 firmware 1.12
  9. if someone downloads a 5s file to the 560 area how in the world does one check for model type???? must be hard to do i imagine?
  10. down grade? egads i have vers 1.12....but on a further note when doing the hold store button press rec play to update midi headers i found that i had to have the port set to C to influence the midi recorder settings....very important
  11. you sure it was 560 hex layers and not the 5s....maybe that would influence things adversly????
  12. for casio to note: i think it would be an easy add on to have some rythmns that use just one tone rather than a drum kit....then you could switch between all the tones and have a more pared down feel....that would be cool i think.....

  14. breathy sax , 560, auto harmony, silent left hand chords....am trying to find the best settings for not getting that string sound from auto accompiament....presets rhythm to piano trio works pretty good.....let me know what you think....hopefully this will take mp3s ....the facebook site didn't want it...ha..... kirkyet.mp3
  15. what was that scarlatti song used in a black and white movie with george segal? i can never remember which one and i end up searching all day...? any hints? it had sort of a church bell feel if i remember right..... thanks....
  16. i set it to panning ...i really want to try that one out with the midi recorder! as i've said before...if fooling around with distortion settings....turn your volume to LOW!!!!! or set the pedals second parameter for the pedal to a low maximum level....almost blew my speakers!!!!!
  17. what are people favorite way to compose? poll. i like to start with a bass line then some spartan drums then melody then some rythmn guitar or something or pads anyone have a favorite way to compose????? without it being a pre written piece?

  19. thanks tnicoson! stay off the nicotine your dad used to do....ha it sort of works with a split keyboard but i get some wierd artifacts...right hand being delayed etc... if i remember right thanks again for the long reply ********once again i want to warn people about using the distortion dsp with a new expression pedal! turn the volume wayyyyy down!!!! luckily i didnt blow my speakers!
