  1. It's actually mentioned on page 19 of the User's Guide: "Specifying 0 will cause each beat to be indicated by the. same sound. This setting lets you practice with a steady beat."
  2. The only thing about my new PX-560 that disappointed me was the pedal. Personally, I think it looks naff; more importantly, I found it too easy to knock it sideways, or even to the back of the keyboard, it is so light. I ordered an M-Audio SP-2, which cost me all of 12 quid. Just picked it up from Amazon Lockers, and I am delighted with it. It has some weight, stays where it is put, and it also looks the part. I am also finding it with my foot easier, without needing to shuffle around down there. So now, largely out of curiosity, I check eBay for what Casio SP-3s are going for, and am surprised to see the going rate seems to be 12-15 quid, more than I paid for my "better" replacement. Am I missing something? (While I was at it, I also picked up M-Audio's Expression pedal. I don't have a use for it yet, but probably will do, once I am more aquainted with the piano.)

    CS-67 Stand

So, a new PX-560 owner. I currently have it on a X stand, which I am perfectly happy with for playing stability. However, leaving it set up in a busy household, I am considering the CS-67 stand, which will also let me go for the pedal board. So I wondered what people's opinion of the CS-67 is, particularly with regard to how simple it is to remove the keyboard for the odd occasion I want to take it out and about with me. Is it easy to get out and refit, and will doing so repeatedly have a detrimental effect on the stand? I notice that the stand comes with a reinforcement bar that needs to be bolted to the base of the piano. Does this protrude or otherwise get in the way, when using the piano on an portable stand? Or does it need to be removed each time?
