  1. Anyone have some Idea of how many px-5s pianos were sold worldwide since its inception ??
  2. Hi all, Got the px-5s couple of weeks ago. I really like it so far, and there is certainly a lot of learning to do. One of the questions I have regards the touch. Seems that the volume of the the keys is a bit variable. Not because of the graded action, but rather my touch. Do you even this out by playing with "velocity" or are there other parameters worth adjusting until I get my best "fit" I also would like to comment on the tone. I own a Yamaha p-250 stage piano ( 12 years old). I can honestly say that the major sample instruments are far superior in sound to the px-5 Perhaps this is due to better sampling, resolution or I still need to play with the settings. There is also a 1.5 K difference in price. more in today's dollars. The big advantage is obviously portability. The Yamaha is a back breaker. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and having fun.
