drivers CTK-5200 Windows 10 Drivers Problem

Hello everyone, i have a Casio CTK-5200 and i checked casio's driver page for download windows10 driver. But they don't have the windows 10 version. I really want to plug the keyboard to my pc for record track with virtual instrument. Since I switched to win10 i can't use it and i want to still use win10. From already thanks you so much. Hi, I've just brought my million years old CASIO CTK-800 keybord from the attic and decided to give it a second life. The problem is i can't use CDs on my laptop, so i can't install the driver from the original CD. Do you know, where can I download a 64-bit Windows 10 driver? love xxx

I have created a MIDI file using Musescore notation software and am attempting to store it in the user area on a CTK 3500. I have successfully installed Chordana Play on my Android phone and stored the MIDI file on the phone. I can connect the phone to the CTK 3500, enter APP Mode, and play the file through the CTK speakers. However, when I attempt to Transfer the file to the CTK storage it does not work. I click on Transfer Song on the Chordana app and get a dialog box saying make sure the keyboard is in APP Mode and click OK. When I click OK nothing happens. While experimenting with possible solutions, I attempted to store one of the built in songs in the Chordana App, and when I clicked OK, I got another dialog box with additional options (which I don't recall at this time). So I am suspecting that there is some sort of formatting difference between Musescore MIDI structure and what Chordana is expecting. Has anyone else had this issue? If so have you found a work around? Thanks

Hi, The keys left of C key are not playing. The ones starting with marking of Chord. I have powered it down and powered it up which should have reset any split settings but I just cannot get it to play. In this lockdown it is a pain to find someone to fix it. Can someone please help a brother out?

HI! I need help ! I have a casio ctk-7000 and I love the rhthm sounds there. Now I bought a CT-X 5000 and I want to download all files from the CTK 7000 to a Computer, so that I can upload it later to the User Rhythms at my ct-X 5000. I cant find a way to do this. I can download the User Rhythms but not all the other. -
Hello, I own a casioctk-691 that was working fine but suddenly stopped working.When I press power button the LCD goes ON but on screen shows something like I press a lot of keys/buttons at the same time,some letters are half.Also none of the keyboard buttons and keybed keys working.No sound at all.It looks like cannot boot or load the firmware to continue.Also I cannot turn it off from power button and I have to unplug the ac/dc power plug..The 9v adaptor is fine and also I used another bench adaptor with the same results.With batteries same result also. I disassembled the keyboard.The power supply board is fine.All dc voltage/capacitors/diodes according the service manual are ok.The cpu board gets all the 5v,9v,3.3v power..I found only that 1 of 2 Vram ics getting very hot quicly.If Vram is faulty IC can this be the reason for no booting or Not?..I tried the factory reset but because buttons not working nothing happens..I sent message to CASIO for a spare pcb but with no luck..It is my favorite keyboard and I will be very glad if someone with knoledge can help me or any ideas? I am working with a WK-3500, and having trouble understanding how to accomplish certain things. The manual says that there are a variety of files with Z00 through Z09 extensions, which hold sets of parameters. I wanted to be able to load files from the Casio Music website, but the only files available there have CTK extensions. How do I extract the files I want, and how do I load them into the keyboard ? I am looking for specific instructions on loading rhythms into the user rhythm locations, but I didn't see anything about that in the manual. Also, is it possible to edit or create rhythms on the WK-3500 itself, or does that need to be done on a computer and then exported and copied to a diskette ?

Hello, This is my first post. I know nothing about music, but want to learn to play keyboards for pastimes. I did some research on the web, and this has led me to narrow down my choice to Casio keyboards. My preference in decreasing order(according to the products available in my country): 1) CTK-7300IN (sliders on left side) 2) WK-240K7 (76 keys) 3) CT-X870IN/ CT-X8000IN (new AiX sound engine) Questions: 1) Since where I live, music and keyboards are a very rare hobby, I am not getting a used one, and the equivalent of 280 USD is the most I can spend, are the choices of keyboards correct? (7300 cost my quivalent of 280 USD, that's 3/5 of a month's salary) 2) I want one good keyboard, so that after I learn my way around music, I can still use the keyboard for making better music, are the afore-mentioned choices good? 3) Someone on a forum claimed that CTK-7300 come close to workstation capabilities, so does that mean I can actually synthesize music with its Drawbar Sliders? 4) In my learning journey, will 61 keys hinder me, so that I can consider the WK240 76 key version? 5) What kind of DSP do these Casios have? And do I need a hardware synth module so that I can create advanced effects? (Like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GV2FIWhH-Z8) 6) Does AHL vs AIX matter for me? People already claim Yamahas have more depth of sound than Casios, and I don't want a Yamaha. (My choice: 7) Can I make guitar pedals FX work with my Casio? Do I need guitar pedals for FX like reverb or delay? 😎 Do I need a monitor speaker? Will a plain CD Player's speaker work? Are the Keyboard's onboard speakers good enough or poor? 9) Since these have USB MIDI, can I connect them directly to a speaker? 10) Do I need a DAW? What are some low cost/ free DAWs? Is a soft-synth far better than any hardware synth, since they use computer CPUs? -
Hi everyone. I have read the info on Casio about CTK and CTX. However, I don't have a clear idea of the differences between these two models. I am considering getting myself a CTK-7200 or CTX-700. Could you enlighten me please? I used to played piano for about 10 years and I stopped for about 7 years already. I am trying to go back to piano but because I am living overseas right now. I can't possibly get myself a piano, so I am going for an electronic one. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this topic though.

Is there a PC Mode in the Casio CTK-720? Because it is really bothering me how the piano plays at the same time as the computer does.

I own a digital keyboard of CASIO. It is having 17 sets of percussion instruments. Now the problem is when I create a midi drum pattern, it is played by the first set, i.e. , Standard Set 1(It has all sounds of GM). But if I have to play it according to another set ( Ethnic set or Indian set) , is it possible? I believe there is some roll of bank set , is there?
