  1. I beginning to feel like an idiot! I want to set a 6 chord sequence into one pad of varying bar lengths so I can have the keyboard play the chord sequence while I concentrate on doing more with both hands free for counter melody and so forth. So far I keep going in circles and neither the owners nor tutorial are helping much. Assume I have not clue, what are the steps to do this? And how do you get it to play with a rhythm with the whole keyboard doing other things? thanks
  2. hallo, i still have the problem: i cannnot in any way load a user phrase in its bank (user data from 301 ....on) it only catches "sampling" samples ( i have stored into the usb pen) , as "samples" and they only play one second, like drum sampling but my samples are 3-5 second long!!! Why from usb i can only store samples as "sampling" (becouse i only find them there) and not in Phrases lots? please can you explain easily all the procedure? i did not find it anywhere!!! grazie from italy
  3. Can you record the sample pads on the sequencer? Could not find answer in the online manual. Thanks!

  5. Hi, Have no problem using the metronome when recording MIDI phrases onto PADS. But when using the MZ-X500's metronome when recording short audio (mike) vocals to PADS, for some reason, the recorded PAD includes the sound of the metronome. How do I prevent the sound of the metronome from being included in recording? thank-you
  6. Has anyone had any luck building some good ambient stage settings on the PX-5S? I'm trying to write in the vein of Sigur Ros, Brian Eno, Boards of Canada, Tycho, etc., and I would really like to build some cool ambient stage settings. Anybody have one they can share, or have any tips on building my own?

Version 2 of Shaneinated. Read below for details. The difference between this and the originated in Slider six now controls the piano volume (5 still the hex layer) snf some EQ fine tuning. I set this as a separate file as some may prefer to have the bell left on slider six. This is a Piano based on the ConcertD but heavily modified in the EQ area. I also has a Hex layer of pads and strings etc that can be modified with the sliders. I use this sound in Worship a very ethereal sound can be achieved with a bright Concert sounding Piano. I have gone to alot of trouble to mix this righ AS IS even though you can easily use the sliders to radically change it. Please note Slider 5 is very important. It controls the Hex layer as a whole in the mix so setting to zero youll get just the piano sound, All the way up youll get a strong mix of both. Sliders 1,2,3,4,and six control the volume elements of the HexLayer. If you have the Hexlayer volume up yet play without the use of the sustain pedal and play a little bit staccato the piano will come through strongly and the hexplayer pads will drop right back to being almost unnoticeable.
