  1. All instruments were played in real time, except the drums and percussion instruments which were edited in the rhythm editor and recorded in the CT-X5000's sequencer. The vibraphone is recorded on Phrase Pad 1. Sorry for the audio quality. Piano, strings, violin, drums, brazilian pandeiro, triangle, timpani, vibraphone and percussions. Rhythm Maracatu.m4a
  2. I want to synchronize Phrase playback with rhythm by pressing the Start button, but it is not stored in the registration bank.

This is a complete archive of all the preset rhythms on the CT-X3000 (and X5000) in .AC7 format. I exported these rhythms one by one from the CT-X3000 by copying them into an empty User Rhythm slot and moving them to my computer in groups of 50 by using the Data Manager for CT-X software utility. Thanks to the wonderful ReStyle batch renaming tool developed by @shiihs here on the forums, I was able to quickly and efficiently edit these Rhythms to use their original display names as shown on stock CT-X3000 hardware instead of generic "No Name" placeholders. These Rhythms also have the benefit of being "unlocked" as a result of being processed by ReStyle. Normally, official Casio preset Rhythms are unable to be edited beyond tweaking voice assignments in the Rhythm mixer menu, as their track data appears as "Fixed" when you attempt to edit the recordings in the onboard Rhythm Editor. However, these unlocked Rhythms will show their track data as "Recorded", just like it would be with any other User Rhythm you created from scratch. This opens up the ability to add or remove notes to an existing track recording via overdubbing and spot clear, allowing you to make precise changes to the material already contained in these preset Rhythms. If you would rather work with the original, locked Rhythms exported exactly as they were from hardware, you can refer to my previous release of this archive. If you are a CT-X700, CT-X800 or CDP-S350 owner who is looking to import only the Rhythms that were kept exclusive to the CT-X3000/X5000, I would not recommend using this archive. Instead, I have released a separate expansion pack specifically for those models that includes only the exclusive "missing" Rhythms that have been properly adjusted with new voice assignments to avoid tones that are exclusive to the X3000 for maximum compatibility. The Rhythms in this archive are raw and unaltered from the original presets on the X3000, and several of them make use of tones that do not exist on the lower end AiX models, meaning they may sound strange when you import them to those keyboards. The CT-X700/X800 pack can be found here, and the CDP-S350 pack is here. MZ-X users in particular might find this archive helpful, as the MZ-X300 and MZ-X500 are the only other Casio keyboards in the current line-up that can import and play 4-variation .AC7 Rhythms. However, these Rhythm styles are programmed with the CT-X series' voice assignments in mind, so the Program Change and Bank select values associated with some of these Rhythms may call up different instruments when they're imported onto an MZ-X model. Fortunately the MZ-X series features a highly capable onboard Rhythm Editor which you can use to tweak the voice assignments to your liking.
  4. I created it using my CT-X5000. All rhythms are only in variation 1. VL-RhumA.AC7 VL-March.AC7 VL-Begui.AC7 VL-BossB.AC7 VL-SambB.AC7 VL-Swing.AC7 VL-SambA.AC7 VL-BossA.AC7 VL-RhumB.AC7 VL-Waltz.AC7 VL-Rock1.AC7 VL-Rock2.AC7 VL-4Beat.AC7
  5. Just new here, wanted to know the basics functions of this keyboard. 1. How to save a tone (or layered tone) on a "Bank" or in a slot of the 16 slots sequencer (that has Casio CT-X5000) ? => i have thought, that u could save it on Registry, but Presets (Piano, Organ etc) were already registered ! So, how to delete the Registry 2 (Organ), and Create your own preset instrument on it ? 2. For creating a song, i dont understand how u should proceed ? a) does a song consists of many "Phrases" that you add in a sequently order ? b) does "Phrase" is a part of song where u can record the Left hand, then come back for the Right hand ? Like, u can create, then modify those parts as long as u want ? Or is it recorded just once ? 3. When u created your song, can u record/save somewhere in the Keyboard ? a) how to proceed for that ? (coz got many ideas, and want to save them, so i can freed my mind for new ideas and keep working safely) 3. For layered-tones, how many banks can u use simultaneously while you are playing ? coz was thinking of using (Piano+string) Bank 1, (Guitar+Bass) Bank 2 and (Vocals+Saxophone) Bank 3 Is it possible ? and ofc, could i just use Bank 1 & 2, then switch to 3, and do just Bank 1 & 3 ? ====> Just asking those for Banks, coz in my Old Yamaha, u had 16 Bank Slots, ( 8 dedicated for Drum kits Accomp, and the other remaining 8 Banks where for your USE ). Then within those 8 banks offered, u could only select a maximum of 3 Banks simultaneoustly All u had to do, is simply press the 3 Bank (sequencer main panel) and just play. So, was wandering if you could have a similar system with the Casio CT-X5000 Need your Help, and just feel free to post useful advices, THANKS !
  6. Based on the document created by @Soundioxide (thanks!) as a reference for creating and editing User Phrases (see this link), I decided it would be handy to have a similar reference for creating User Rhythms. It obviously doesn't take the place of the manual (you need to understand the basic components and concepts), but I think it provides a nice summary of the workflow and options along the way. I tried to keep it to one page, so apologies to those (including me) who have trouble seeing small print. Fortunately, if viewing online, you can "zoom" in! I didn't get into every option (for example, I didn't include procedures for copying all or parts of other rhythms), but stuck mostly to the basic creation process. I thought it was worth sharing, and hopefully you will find it useful. Any corrections or suggestions are welcome. Casio CT-X5000 Rhythm Editing.pdf
  7. Is the following way possible? Say I have DAW on computer running, casio connected as output midi device. I play single phrase from DAW - casio records it say to bass line. I play another phrase - recorded as chords and so on. Will this work?
  8. Hi: I am learning how to make new rhythms with my Casio CT-X3000 and came up with a version of plena that I like and I am sharing it. Plena is a popular style of music from Puerto Rico. The intro and ending could be better, I guess. If someone likes it, I could work on those a bit more. Let me know! Plena2 .AC7

  10. Hi, When I try to save my Tone and Rhythm settings to a Bank, the rhythm volume is not getting saved - is there a way to save the rhythm volume as well? What I found is every time I recall the Bank settings, the drum volume is back to the highest setting. Thanks!
  11. Hello, I just got my WK-7600 and I have been trying to figure out how to play a song (recorded using Song Sequencer with several instrument sounds) together with a rhythm. From what I've read so far, the Rhythm function cannot be enabled while the Song Sequencer is engaged (either during reording or playback). So my ultimate question is - how can I play "live" on piano with rhythm (drums) along with multiple instruments (pre-recorded using Song Sequencer as background)? Thanks Johnny N
  12. Make your own rhythms in Song Sequencer. CASIO Ctk- and other models It is quite easy to make backing tracks in the song sequencer option . How to make backing tracks : Please help me to grow my channel by clicking here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6dADhYMku-tAm_X8siA49Q
  13. Hi everybody, Here is finally the full version of Daniel Lindholm’s tutorial on how to create your own song on the CT-X5000. It looks soooo easy... 🤔🤔🤔 Enjoy 😋
  14. I am working with a WK-3500, and having trouble understanding how to accomplish certain things. The manual says that there are a variety of files with Z00 through Z09 extensions, which hold sets of parameters. I wanted to be able to load files from the Casio Music website, but the only files available there have CTK extensions. How do I extract the files I want, and how do I load them into the keyboard ? I am looking for specific instructions on loading rhythms into the user rhythm locations, but I didn't see anything about that in the manual. Also, is it possible to edit or create rhythms on the WK-3500 itself, or does that need to be done on a computer and then exported and copied to a diskette ?
  15. How would one even go about building a new rhythm (drum) pattern and storing it on the PX-360? Any help would be deeply appreciated.
  16. Hi, it has been an interesting journey to discover which workstation addresses my needs in a keyboard. I was considering the mzx500 but the acoustic sounds aren't realistic enough for my purposes. The SuperNatural tones on the Roland FA-07 are the closest to real in my price range. However, the Roland lacks adequate rhytm patches. I have two questions: 1. Has anyone found a rhythm download of world and Latin beats for the MZX500? 2. Can I download the rhythm presets into the Roland FA-07. If so, what is the best way? my own observations on the Roland FA series are it is almost as easy to use as the 500 but lacks touch screen, velocity driven layers, and arpeggiator for more than one part while playing but has 76 keys, good graphics and ease of use. i also looked at the MOXF6 but was discouraged by the difficulty of use, poor graphics, layout, lack of velocity driven layering and 61 keys. Both the Roland and the Yamaha require outboard monitors. I know the experts on the forum know all this, but for the newbies looking for the right keyboard it points out some of the things worth thinking about to make a satisfying purchase. thanks for the help.
  17. Was wondering if there are any good videos/youtubes for using the rhythm and accompaniment features of the px 560? I went thru the 6 youtubes which were very good, but didn't cover too much the rhythm and accompaniment aspects. thx,,,,
  18. Hi all, I recently bought the MZ-X500 and I'm loving it! However, I have tried to load .sty files into the keyboard but these do not show up. I have upgraded to the latest firmware but every time I search the usb stick it says there are no files on there when, in actual fact, there are! If anyone could shed some light on what I'm doing wrong or missing out, that would be great!
  19. Dumb question, I know, but I haven't been able to find this information in manual or online. I have a WK-7600. Sometimes, the auto-accompaniment (rhythm, chords accomp.) is too loud compared to the volume of the right hand playing. Surely there is a simple volume switch somewhere? Your advice will be much appreciated.

Hello, here are 3 rhythms I converted for the MZ-X500, I've adjusted them stripping out bad notes, I've also revoiced the tracks to use the MZ-X tones instead of the GM set. Proper names are: BALLAD01 -> Ballad 01 BALLAD02 -> Ballad 02 CELTIC01 -> Celtic Ballad 01 Please, let me know what do you think
  21. Hello all! I have a problem !. I'm writing a sequence/song with no accomp tracks, but using a User Rhythm Preset/Track. I need to be able to silence the Rhythm Track at the very top of the song and in the middle of the song. And have it come back in again later. I can't edit/punch those measures into silence, or even manually turn that track volume to 0 on the fly in the mixer. I've tried everything short of recording the track on a DAW by waveform to cut the waveforms there, oooof ! Problem with that, is I seem to be unable to play/record to DAW any of my Tone tracks without drums everywhere. Basically I can't find a way to turn them off in any form while the song/sequence plays. Halp ! Any help and advice would be greatly appreciate! Thank you in advance
  22. Just purchased a new CTK 4400 and it is anything but intuitive. Cannot get any of the rhythms to play at all. Just want it to provide drum accompaniment at times and cannot figure out how to get it to do anything that simple.
  23. It is possible to start a rhythm with a particular fill-in and save the same in registration banks? Eg. If i wanna store Pop-Rock rhythm in a registration bank & always want it to start with 2nd fill-in and then continue with 2nd Variation.

Rhythm for "Comptine d'un autre été l'après midi" BY Yann Tiersen Load Rhythm onto USER empty slot Use any piano Tone that you like Rhythm SET with Full Range Chord Tempo 75 Here are the chords Em G Bm D Actually is a simple mix of Rhythms Piano 8 Beat + Arpeggio 3
  25. Is there a way to set the rhythm volume for the pre-set (non-user) rhythms? My old (very old) Casio keyboard had a simple hardware slider that affected all rhythms. I know I can create up to 10 user rhythms with custom volumes. But to use the many many factory volumes and be able to set volume would be light years ahead! Factory volumes are generally way too loud.
