When I connect my Piano CDP-120 with usb cable type a-b my computer read it but I can't use my piano with LMMS (The software I have installed)... My first question is: Which is the driver download for CDP-120 for Windows 10? My second question is: Can I use LMMS or I have to install other software?

Hi Folks, Nice to be here. My name is Marty W. I recently bought for my fiancee a Casio CTK-6200 Keyboard Sequencer. A very nice little machine. Years ago I owned a Roland XP-60 and while I loved that machine it was an absolute BEAR to deal with. So I'm really happy with the Casio. Here's the thing though...Linda is NOT a musician and I got her this so she could make use of track recording and: 1.) Learn some basic piano skills like chords and melody 2.) So she could record melodic ideas she comes up with for the lyrics she writes for us. She is the lyricist and I'm the musician. Very nice working relationship for the most part. However, as she's improved her lyrical skills, she finds that often she hears a melody in her head she wants me to use in the music but cannot sing it to me or play it. Hence the sequencer so she can simply record the melodic lines to the SSD drive and I can import it into my Studio One DAW. Nothing complicated for the moment. Eventually we will both jump in and incorporate it into the entire studio set up but for now that's all we need to do. Finally found a video that walks us through the track recording process, but for the moment just really need to be able to save the tracks she records. Cannot for some reason save these files to the sim card. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and cannot seem to find a simple press this and so on to do this simple process. It's got to be something simple I'm just not seeing on the keyboard but I could sure use some help. Thanks. Marty

Hi, When I was sold the PX360 I was told I could play full song recordings via the USB so I can play along and practice the keyboard part. I have gone through the manual and cant find instructions how to do this. Can anyone help?

I recently acquired a CZ101 one but this one seems to make a clicking noise when it receives MIDI data on other channels. For example, CZ set to channel 1, notes being played on channel 16 make a clicking noise corresponding to their durations, so its not random noise. If I turn them off in the MIDI program, those other channel clicks disappear, but the receiving channel still plays the clicks from its midi on messages. Playing the same patches via the keyboard there is no such raspy clicking noises. I was hoping somebody may have encountered this problem before and new how to fix it. thanks

Hey all, I'm new to this forum, but I'm looking for help repairing my Casiotone 403. I accidentally knocked it over and it now no longer powers on. If anyone happens to have any experience with these and could point me in the direction of the possible components which might've failed, I would be eternally grateful.

I dont know wich one to buy. casio px 560M or Roland FP 50 i really want the Casio but Somebody said that they make "toys"And Roland has a professional sound.I think Casio has An amazing sound.Someone said that the Casio has a bizarre feeling playing on it and the Roland mechanism is much more better.I really want the Casio but every musicians near me say that doesnt matter which type i want i should buy the Roland. Sorry for my English.

Hello to everyone on the Casio Music Forum! I'm here looking for information on an old keyboard which I believe to be from the 1990s. It originally belonged to my grandmother, and now I use it in some of my music production because I like some of the sort of 90s sounds on it. Printed on the front is a list of 100 drum rhythms, as well as 100 sound presets. It says CASIO: PRO-300 in the center, and has a LCD screen that is 4.5 cm x 2 cm which displays numbers that correspond to whatever preset one might have selected. It incorporates the use of Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) sound as well as touch response, and adaptable, built in Reverb and Delay effects. I have attached a photograph of the keyboard to this thread. The things I'd like to know about this keyboard are: How much did it originally cost? What type of synthesis is used (or are they samples)? When did they first begin being produced? How long did they stay on the market? What is it worth now? Thanks in advance, I look forward to seeing what you all can provide!

Hi guys, I've just bought this piano brand new from Thomann (really great shop to buy music instruments) but don't know what to think. I don't have many experiences with digital pianos and I've learned that Casio keyboards are generally more noisy comparing with Yamaha and I'm fine with that but one of the keys is extremely clunky on back stroke. What is even worse it is E4 key. Sounds like keyboard or hammer is touching some plastics when returning to it's default position. Like there is no damping on that place. There is another one which is a bit more noisy than rest but not as bad at this one. The rest of the keyboard is OK. I've made a video of that so what do you guys think ? Return and replace ? What are the odds to get another one with the same issue ? It's kind of expensive to send back to Germany. I'm not sure if it's a defect or not. Is this rare thing or normal for Casio keyboards ? The noise is pretty annoying during play and I can hear it even with headphones. Also it's not pleasant once the finger leave the key. Everything works flawlessly but this is pretty distracting. Thanks for your opinions...

I just received my px160 today. It plays and sounds great. I just have one concern. There seems to be glue in between some of the keys on the lower end. It doesn't affect the sound or action as far as I can tell. I just wanted to check if this was somewhat normal or if it is something I should be concerned about? I have pictures if that would help. Thanks.

Hello. Do any forum members know where I might get a replacement B key for the above synth? Or, is there an equivalent replacement? Its really nice, has lovely CZ sounds and drums from the RZ-1. Pic enclosed (ebay). Key contact still works! Casio and Yamaha stuff lasts forever, only batteries are their Kryptonite Thanks. David.

Hi I've recently purchased the XW-G1 and I've been trying to figure this out for ages. basically I want to know is after you create something from within the synth e.g. a drum pattern, melody ect.. how do I then export that as a wav file to use within my DAW? also I would like to know how I can record full tracks and live sets from within the synth, Is there any way to take the master output of the synth and send it to my DAW and record it as an audio file?
