Hello... I hope this is in the right forum... I want to play midi files with the Casio CT-X5000 and play along with the midi file... Does anyone here know where I can download the best and preferably free midi files for the Casio CT-X5000... And which midi files should I actually have for the keyboard.? I have already downloaded midi files on various sites, but they do not all sound equally good... So which midi files should I have GM, XG or XMf or other midi files... So which files midi files sound good on the Casio CT-X5000 and where can I best download them.? Mvg... Albert...

I could swear I remember there is a way to play all the MIDI files on an SD Card sequentially but don't recall how? Maybe I'm thinking of a different keyboard? Anyone know? I know you can press the PLAY/STOP & PART/SELECT BUTTONS together for a playback of a sequence of demos** I thought there was also a way to get that to happen with the midi contents of the external SD Card? TIA -
I've been putting my favorite 50 stage settings into the banks 0-4, to allow space for stuff I tweak / create in banks 5-9. // Select a stage setting / write / decrement until I hit the planned destination number / Enter / Yes // 30 to 50 times. Unfortunately, I fatigued a little after a while, and overwrote a stage setup that I would have preferred to keep. No problem, thinks I, I'll just restore it from the backup I made before I started all this. The backup is in an "All" (.ZAL) file. Uh-oh. I haven't found a lot of documentation on manipulating ZAL files. Is there a way to load a single element, such as a stage setting, from a ZAL file without overwriting the whole PX-5S?

Hello everyone, I'm a little stuck on how to transfer midi files to my keyboard. It doesn't have a usb port, but I have the midi ports. I'm confused as to how I can transfer Rhythm files to my keyboard from my computer. I have the files that I need, but I'm not sure how to copy the files over to my keyboard. Many thanks Sarah B

Hi all, I recently bought the MZ-X500 and I'm loving it! However, I have tried to load .sty files into the keyboard but these do not show up. I have upgraded to the latest firmware but every time I search the usb stick it says there are no files on there when, in actual fact, there are! If anyone could shed some light on what I'm doing wrong or missing out, that would be great!
