How to set metronome volume permanently in Casio CTX 9000IN? I have to decrease the volume level everytime whenever I start the keyboard.
-
I have recently purchased the CT-x5000. It may not be complicated to some but my previous keyboard had 8 tones and 8 buttons, so it's a steep learning curve (farewell 1991 Clavinova). I have read the manual (thoroughly) and can find little information concerning the metronome. In fact, the best information was via Youtube, 20 minutes from the end of a 3 hour review. The issue: I would like to record some accompaniments. I wish to keep in strict time and then I can add second parts (+ more). I set the metronome to 80 and it resets to 120 once I start playing. I have tried the "To sound a pre-count or the metronome" on page EN-95 without success as it also reverts to 120. Summary: 1 How do I record with the metronome? 2 How do I get the machine retain the speed that I set it to? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Derek

Hi there. I don't think I saw this question posted before. Say I use the external audio input to listen to a metronome while playing. Is there a way to record audio without recording that metronome sound? that is, to record only what I'm playing without recording the external audio I'm listening to? I saw some other posts about alternatives to metronomes, but they didn't quite addressed this. Greetings!

I would like to be able to hear my Privia-160's metronome when it's set to Local Control while connected with my computer. My settings: Privia PX-160, Local Control ON, connected to MacBook Air and Garageband. Sound comes from headphones connected to the computer. The connexion is working, I can record and playback. My problem is that I would like to practice using the keyboard's metronome sound. It flashes but I can't hear it. I know I can use Garageband's metronome but for that, I need to be recording. I want to practice/improvise without recording and would like to hear the metronome. Any idea? Thanks.

Hi, I am new to casios. I got it because it was light, had speakers and can be battery powered. I lke sequencers and thought I could use it to rough out tunes but the sequencer shuts off when I try to record a track. Is there any way to keep the metronome on? I mean, it makes sense to be exactly in time even for editing purposes and adding tracks.

Hello, when I reduce the metronome volume in the balance section and then I save the current registration, at next switch on of the PX 560, the reduced metronome volume value is lost (back to 127). Is that normal or what is needed to store the metronome volume in a registration?

Hi, Have no problem using the metronome when recording MIDI phrases onto PADS. But when using the MZ-X500's metronome when recording short audio (mike) vocals to PADS, for some reason, the recorded PAD includes the sound of the metronome. How do I prevent the sound of the metronome from being included in recording? thank-you

This package enables to have metronom with each StageSetup It includes a Song "Metonome" and the Phrase "Metronome". With this "Song" you will have a 99 Bar Metronome. You could have more if, you multiply the phrase in a external Midi Sequencer. If you run out, simply press "Start" again. This is my first test, building a package. I hope this works for you. A package ZPK contains more than one file. In this case it replaces (without asking) Song 9 (please save a Song if you have one already in that location) It replaces the phrase 999 (please save phrase 999 if you already have used it9 Load the PC Editor and select "Package Transfer. Then drag the file from Windows File Manager to the left side "PC Package Files" Then select "Metronomesong.ZPK" and cklick on the blue arrow between the windows. Ralf
