  1. Casio PX-135 There is noise when you press on almost any keys. Turning on - turning off the piano sometimes fixes the problem. But not now. Changing the volume changes the volume of the noise. When starting pre-installed persets - noise is played to the melody. Not under warranty. There are no service centers in my country. Please, help! Sorry for my bad english.
  2. Hi All, I am new on pianos. I bought an PX-780 2 years ago and I haven't played anything more than basic songs. today I found a key (C note) which is noisy when I release. The piano still has a few days of warranty. I would like to ask if this is an issue you have had with pianos! and if so would yo uthink should be covered by warranty? the video link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/xAr88CxentZSon642 Thanks, Vassilis
  3. When I use split mode with Hex Layer 039 GTR'Bass (Lower 1) and Piano (Upper 1) there is a sporadic noisy sound when hitting a key hard - sound is clearly generated by electronic, undistorted, sinoid, about 500-800Hz. The normal bass guitar sound is not generated as long as the key is hit. Disappears with the next key is hit. Occurs sporadically about every 10th-30th key pressed. Firmware Update V1.14 has been loaded (issue was there with Version V1.0 as well). Example file attached. Any ideas how to fix this? Issue_Hex_Layer_Bass_Guitar_in_split_mode.WAV
  4. Hi Tnicoson, I'm back here again with the Casio 7200, I'm still acquiring the motorboating noise it as been to casio three times and still no joy I'am seriously thinking about getting a assessment on the work they have done on it, it's no different from the first time it went for repairs if enything it's got worse .I have contacted you to see if you have any idear what's wrong with it or anybody else as any idear what's wrong with it because casio has't a clue what they our doing thanks
  5. I recently acquired a CZ101 one but this one seems to make a clicking noise when it receives MIDI data on other channels. For example, CZ set to channel 1, notes being played on channel 16 make a clicking noise corresponding to their durations, so its not random noise. If I turn them off in the MIDI program, those other channel clicks disappear, but the receiving channel still plays the clicks from its midi on messages. Playing the same patches via the keyboard there is no such raspy clicking noises. I was hoping somebody may have encountered this problem before and new how to fix it. thanks
  6. After two months or so of play my keys are starting to make annoyingly loud mechanical noises. Not all keys are the same. It almost seems like if there were a damping material at the end of travel that it is failing because at the end of travel on the downstroke there is more of a plastic on plastic sound rather than a softened thud. I am also finding that there is a squeak on some of the keys in addition to the other sound. The noise is definitely not coming from the speakers but is strictly mechanical in nature. It is loud enough that it overpowers the softer moments in a performance and is making it unsuitable for public play. Another symptom is that if i slide off a fully depressed key and let it rise of its own accord some make a rattle type sound when reaching their natural position. It seems like some damping material has failed on the upstroke as well. These issues are getting progressively worse as I use the board. Is anyone else having this issue? What can be done to fix it? Do I have a lemon?
  7. Hello. This thread possibly involves two separate issues. There's some noise coming out of the phone outputs of my PX-5S, one that is there at a constant volume regardless of what volume is the PX-5S set to output. I think I read about this somewhere, but I couldn't find that exact issue being cited when I searched for it at the moment. Anyway, it's not super-strong, but it's quite audible and you notice it as soon as the keyboard is turned on. I don't know whether that's regarded as "normal", and as the output volume doesn't affect the noise level, I thought perhaps it's some ground noise from the AC adapter. So, I tried running the PX-5S on 8 Duracell AA batteries – it doesn't turn on! Why is that? I've put them in correctly. Is there a chance something's wrong with the wiring that should go from the battery compartment? Thanks in advance.
  8. Wish You Were Here View File As requested on the Facebook group here is a quick synth sound for the song Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. This is a Hex Layer tone. 2 layers are being used for the synth brass part. This is mapped on the keyboard up to E5. A 3rd layer has the white noise (wind) sound which is also using the stereo delay insert effect. This is mapped to keys F5 and higher. If I were to build a registration to perform this song, I'd set it up with a Piano in the LOWER1 location and this HexLayer tone in the Upper 1. Take a look at the attached photo which shows octave switches and split point recommendations. Submitter Mike Martin Submitted 04/04/2016 Category Privia PX-560

  10. Hi all, i'm new in this forum and i'm from Italy (so i hope you will forgive me for my bad english). i bought the PX5S a few weeks ago, and i'm going mad whit a strange noise in the back when i hear myself whit the phones and when i'm recording: 1 ) just only plugging the phones in the appropriate slot i start to hear a hiss, something like a blow (SSSSSS) indipendent from the master volume. i'm using a pair of AKG K66 (32 ohm) but also with some other phones from a couple of friends i have the same problem: plug the phones in ---> ssssssss i hear the hiss. only with the high impedence ones i don't hear anything, but i think it's only because i hear a lower sound volume. 2) now, when i record my audio tracks in ableton live going into a focusrite scarlett 2i2 with jack-jack reference cables (all connected to my macmini 2012) i have something like the same problem: i see the audio wave dirty also in the parts of silence... and when i normalize it i hear it clearly: sssss in a first time i thought it was a problem of my house electric system but i have the same issue if i go with batteries, disconnecting my piano from the electric circuit. so, is there some way to fix the problem or have i to take the px5s back to the shop and ask them for a checkup? thanks to all who will answer! Enrico
