  12. Greetings, I'm using a program called "Midi Commander" on my Android table that works great on my XW-P1. I can change Performance and Tone settings just fine with it via the USB midi port. I'd like to do the same with the PX-560. I've stored many registrations in various banks. Q.) What MIDI signals to I need to send to select a PX-560 registration??? I've scoured the documentation and the appendix shows the program and bank numbers for every TONE, but not for registrations. Once I can do that, I'd like to ultimately send the change signals on channel 2 THRU the XW-P1 to my PX-560.... it looks like this [Tablet w Midi Commander] --> USB --> [XW-P1 on channel 1] --OUT--> 5 pin Midi Cable --IN-->[PX-560 on channel 2] This has been frustrating! I'm sure there must be a way to select registrations!!!! Please say it's so? Anybody know how to do this? Thanks! Robert
  13. Very bizarre. If I take any style and make a volume change to a part, I can't store it into a registration for some reason, and I know for a fact that I used to be able to do it. As soon as I store it, when I play, the volume jumps back to the original volume of the part. If I turn a part completely off, it will save THAT change, but not volume for some odd reason. I called Casio tech support and he was baffled by it as well. Any ideas?
  14. Hello all! Okay - I'll admit that I never thought I would buy a Casio but my 70 pound vintage Alesis 88 qs8 died during the holidays. (yes I have newer synths too) It was an opportunity to buy something lighter (and in a good price range) but also I liked the possibilities of an auto arranger. Sooooooooo - here is the big question - Is it possible to save an auto accompaniment that I've chosen (in this case - FoxTrot rhythm, Tone-Piano007, tempo 96) to a preset. I would like to be on a duo gig and simply press one button for this one song. I found the pages that talk about "registrations". I've never heard that term before. I have heard "user banks" "User files" - anyway - when I try to save to a bank, it saves a "Music Preset". I just want to save the auto accompaniment configuration. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Also - in regards to the Music Presets, if I were to use these, how do would I change the key? I realize the chord progressions are fixed but when I was playing around with them, I couldn't find a way to do that. Thank you! Melissa
  15. I recently purchased a wk-7600. i was able to create a split program and save it as a registration. I want to name this registration so I can easily find it on stage, but I can't find any reference in the manual on how to do this. Is it possible to name a registration? Thank you.
  16. I've been setting up registration memory on the PX-350 in order to store transpose and/or octave shift values for various transposing instruments (for example, Baritone Sax: Octave shift = -1, Transpose = -9). When I change the tone back to, let's say, Grand piano concert, the octave shift and transpose values persist. Is there any way, other than using the function controls (tedious) or turning the px-350's power off and on (awkward), to easily return the octave shift and transpose values back to default?
