Hi everyone, I recently bought a XW-G1 and am loving the product (although the documentation leaves a lot to be desired). I am in the procces of putting some of my old projects (sample based hiphop) into the G1 but am running into a little problem with wich i hope someone can help me with: i upload my samples, save them and go to the right user tone (200 and up). i then go to the step sequencer, assign the solo synth to channel 1 and put in the notes live trough step edit. Now here comes my problem: when i have a sample that is made of multiple splits that all loop seamless and i put split one in the first step and next in the fourth to keep the loop going it seems to cut of the last part of the loop from step one when its near step four. When i only trigger 1 step in a pattern it doesn't seem to have this problem but because of the complexity of some of the songs this is not an option since i would be loosing to much patterns if i can only trigger a sample once per pattern. I hope i worded my problem accurate and understandable (english is not my first language) and one of you geniuses can help me. Edit: the problem is not the sampled loops length or quality, i already checked this and it plays normal when i only trigger one step per patter

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing one of these keyboards (xw-g1). Based on what I read it will do what I want, but I want to be thorough. The main issue I'm wondering about has to do with the external input looping. So, can I plug a guitar or microphone up to the input and loop a "sample" from this source, like a looping pedal? Also, can I record samples/loops both from the external and on the keyboard itself without the pattern sequencer stopping? Thanks

I got busy updating the interstellar package then I decide to create a new Crunchy package specifically for looping, Created a short loop from those patches and step sequences its a bit sloppy I was surprised there me making this its kinda fun noodle-jam . Funkalicious.MP3

Build a Performance patch and then Loop it.

https://soundcloud.com/clay-louis-petty/planet-zed-part-1-interstellar-travel XW-G1 is a though little one, Previous I would use anything in a patch or leave out stuff like DSP over control, Global reverb chorus and in combination with Solo synth. End result was quiet a muddy patch and Sseq over time I learned to get the best of parts of the G1 with much desirable result. I got this Planet Zed song setup as follow in performance I got a solo synth on channel 1, This Ssynth I use as sound fx using white noise in addition I've set arpeggio only to this zone. Then I used on zone 2 a VA synth and 3 has Sweep choir. And then I program a step sequence first in the sampler build that up to a nice groove and rebuild it again in Sseq. Try to figure out if you can hear the switch between Sample loop and Sseq pattern I'm switching between with.
