  1. I had my Privia PX-150 for several years, completely problem free. Recently, one note lost its velocity sensitivity, so I decided to open it up and clean with compressed air after watching several very helpful videos on YouTube. All seemed fine when I put the unit back together. The problem key now worked perfectly again. However, I noticed that the top 4 keys no longer produced any sound. Thinking that I may have disturbed something when I was attending to my problem, I opened the keyboard up again, but couldn't see any thing wrong. Did anyone else have a similar problem, and if yes, what did you do to fix? I'm fairly handy, but new to taking on keyboard repairs. Thanks and very much appreciated. Perry

  3. Hello everyone. Can someone please explain how to convert yamaha sty files to casio MIDI for my Casio Privia PX-150?
  4. Hi there, my PX-150 needs to have the main board replaced. It powers down after a few minutes of play. The repair shop says it's the main board. The cost to repair is same as buying a new keyboard. I can get the mainboard and repair myself. Looking for the schematic to a PX-150. THANKS
  5. Can anyone pls explain how to repeat a song in my casio privia px-150 music library. For example automatically playingback repeatedly song 21 instead of it changing to another song
  6. I have a px-150 for around 3-4 years now, today i noticed that one of the notes is significantly louder than the rest. its louder in a weird way, it produces a sharper sound than the other keys, a sound i cannot reproduce by hitting harder on another key. the difference remains on different voices, vibraphone for example. i suspect one of the sensors went bad when i bumped into it early today but can't really tell. did anyone experience any issue of that sort? and do you think i can try and solve it by opening up the piano and having a closer look? (total amateur when it comes to fixing stuff). also is there a "hardwhere" manual for the piano i can have a look at if i am to open it up?
  7. Hi from Caracas, Venezuela I am new to this forum. Excellent content here as it helped me to decide and get a Privia PX-150. More than happy with this digital piano. Beautiful sound and keyboard response. My son is now studying with the PX-150 but I will be borrowing it often. I used to play piano, now keyboard, and have small old fashioned MIDI setup at home. Would have gone for a PX-350 for its MIDI ports but that model is not available here. The PX-150 has USB midi but I am looking to insert the Privia piano without depending on my windows computer. Anyone here knows (or knows somebody who would know) about the internals of the PX-150/350 so I could retrofit the 150 just to add working MIDI ports? I know electronics but would prefer not to explore the instrument internals without doing some previous research and knowing if the retrofit is possible. Specially since this must be done with extreme care staying away from the keybed mechanism and sensors. Any advise would be appreciated
  8. Hello, I've recently buyed a Privia PX-150, and I am very satisfied with it. I want to connect it to Nuendo 5, but I don't know how to do it. I want only to record music as MIDI files, not so much. Sorry for my english I really appreciate your help
