Many registrations combining acoustic pianos with synthesizers, and one providing a more realistic grand piano; Made by me for Casio CT-X800; Probably works with Casio CT-X700 and CT-X870IN; The voice volumes were adjusted with RBK Mixer, by @Chandler Holloway and Miguel Guerrero. Details: Most of these registrations will work better as pads, for filling, than as leads, but this might be improved soon; The registrations are called here in the same way they are on the keyboard screen: [bank number]-[registration number]; 1-3 and 1-4 are inspired by Van Halen's Dreams and wouldn't be possible without RBK Mixer, as many other registrations here; 2-1 combines two piano voices to make a more realistic grand piano, and also sound like the patch of 80s classics, such as Head Over Heels; 3-3 and 3-4 are still "empty" and can be ignored; Comments are welcome, here or in the topic.
  2. Hi Can someone please help me with something that must be pretty obvious to do but for the life of me I cant get this to work. Im trying to access the NON GM patches on my privia over midi. However I seem to only be able to access the standard GM patch lists. Im using SONAR if this helps. Stuart
  3. Hello everybody, I would like to be able to switch my PX5s patches and stage settings from Mainstage. In order to do this, I connect my Macbook to my PX5s with a usb cable, then I create a new channel strip in Mainstage and select "external instruments". I select "CASIO USB MIDI" as midi output device, channel "1-16", and click "create". Having done that, if I try to change the "program change" value, nothing happens on my Casio. PX5s is supposed to be a strong midi controller, so I guess I'm doing something wrong. Can anybody hel me? Thanks a lot in advice.
  4. Hi guys, I'm new to hardware synths as I've just purchased a CZ-5000 of eBay. I love it! BUT I can send patches to it using Midi-Ox but I can't figure out how save the patch to the synth. Is this possible? I can tweak the synth's original preset patches and save them in the user memory slots but can't seem to save patches loaded to the synth externally. Any help appreciated!
  5. Hi, I am new in the comunity, and i hope to stay for a while .... I really like the PX560, im looking for a good piano and for a one man solo band piano... i like the arrangers.... but there is not arangers with 88 keys (i mean in that price range... less than 1200)... anyway, is the internal sequencer of the px560 powerful enough?.... well i really like to play main instruments along with some acompaiment styles and have some control of changing the sounds while i play.. I am planning to use some midis (smf files) and create some arrangements.... the PX560 has a midi player? Im wondering if some of the demos that Bradz made with the MZX500 and Px-5s are possible in the PX560M.... i love all that electro, orchestra and synth sounds. Finally i wonder if there is a demo or maybe you can help me with a distorted guitar demo, with some leads and riffs... i just want to play some rocking leads!! Sorry for having all those questions Thank You.
  6. As the second all-file patch in the making "Loop The Looper" plus a few sample loops I've made and soon to be added. I'm starting to love making patches and how sound designing works synthesizers are great machine I can't have enough purely because making music is fun and addicted to do.
  7. For convenience, here are all of the sounds I have uploaded for the Casio PX-5s. Over 80 links worth! A few links are for XW-G1 or MZ-2000 but the majority are PX-5s. http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&sid=505696c3fd6533b584de3461ac81c3b9&mid=1490&search_app=downloads&userMode=all&search_app_filters[downloads][searchInKey]=files&search_app_filters[downloads][files][sortKey]=downloads&search_app_filters[downloads][files][sortDir]=
  8. Here's some patches I made. 3 are hex layer patches and 1 is a solo synth patch. They're seperate user bank patches so you don't need to "Load All" just to load them onto your synth - you can load them one at a time. One of them is a dubstep "wub" kind of patch but it's a digital pulse wave so it doesn't really "wub" as much as cycle up and down sharply. You can control the speed of it with the mod wheel. The pitch bends at the very bottom notch of the mod wheel range, though. There's one that sounds like the one from NIN's "Suck", another that's crippled and crusty sounding and the effect varies from note to note. I forgot what the 4th one is but they should be a lot of fun to play with. I use them in my own music but I don't care if you use them in your music, too. No copyright bs or anything like that. Doesn't bother me. Post here and let me know if you like them or not - I'm excited to hear what everyone thinks of them! XWP1MaikuPatches.zip
