  1. I recorded a piece of music, including percussion track, but when I copy it to an SD card, the percussion track does not get copied.
  2. Want to play a MIDI file from SD card through px-410r keyboard with the selected tone. I have the MIDI file playing from the card just fine, but it is using the "standard" MIDI synth sound. Want it to play using whatever tone is selected at the time, OR, let me choose what tone to play it through, such as 363, Space Voice 2, or 000 Grand Piano. Thanks for you help
  3. Hi guys, I have a Casio CTK6200, which I have been making songs with the song sequencer for a while. And I want to know how to export them to my computer, I have read almost everything on the internet but I cannot seem to understand... I've downloaded Data manager from the casio website, but I only end up with CMS files which I know are not playable.. And from what I know other models have a "audio recording" button but this model does not. So does that mean everything saved into the SD card is only midi form? Is there a way to convert the files into audio files? My direct question is : How do I export the song sequencer files into a playable form on my computer? I don't mind buying any cables or programs or mics... I also don't know what a DAW is. So I would be very thankful to anyone who is willing to help me solve my problem. Please guys i'm super desperate Thanks in advance!

  5. G'day all and thanks for contributing to this plethora of knowledge regarding the Casio Synths. I bought the XW-P1 last year and was completely daunted by the depth and versatility of Casio's contraption, not having any idea on what I was really buying. But I know Casio has been building digital keyboards for years and have heard from many people in the industry that they usually sound better than the rest. My biggest problem is I have no idea how to play it, but i'll persevere... I've been searching the forum for more detail on how to things. A big thanks to Patrick for the huge post on how to upload WAV files via the Casio XW Data Manager. Q.1) I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to create a SMF (Standard MIDI File) type 0 / or type 1 (*.mid) that will be compatible for upload to the XW-P1 ? Q.2) If this is possible are you then able to play normally over the MIDI output with all the functionality of the Synth? Q.3) I noticed upon playback of my sample .WAV file - that I was restricted to only using the solo synth tone category? There is no mention on capability during file playback in the manual on E-72 or there after. Could I edit the default synth tone? Thanks again for anyone who may answer these questions, unfortunately i have run out of time to look through http://www.casiomusicforums.com/ for an answer.... If someone knows of a document, thread or video about these things - can you please let us know? CHEERS Thanks again all! Happy Jamming !
  6. That thing is the sample loading time and saving its almost as long as the time I would take to put me self a cup of tea one sample bank or coffee two sample banks. To be fair I'm using ordinary SD card the manual said that the G1 also uses SDHC cards I have not tried that yet since I think if it also take this long over usb it won't matter but then again who knows.
