This is a data sheet I made in order to write down the content of the 4x8 registration slots of the CT-X700/800. It consists of a spreadsheet with 8 lines for the eight registration banks and 4 rows for the 4 memory slots of each bank. Each cell is subdivided in 4 lines, in which you can write the name of the song (or usage) of the current memory slot, the name/number of the Main tone used, the number/name of the rhythm used ; and lastly, the tempo of the song. I have provided this document both in PDF for you to print out, as well as in Word format, should you wish to modify it to better suit your needs. Please note that these documents were produced using WPS on an iPad, so the sheet might look somewhat different on a Windows laptop, Mac or Android tablet. Any Microsoft Word version or any compatible software should be able to open the editable version of the document (DOCX. file format). All comments are very welcome.
  2. I want to change the banks and tones of the VST KORG Triton or Triton Extreme via the CT-X5000 registration buttons.
  3. I created it using my CT-X5000. All rhythms are only in variation 1. VL-RhumA.AC7 VL-March.AC7 VL-Begui.AC7 VL-BossB.AC7 VL-SambB.AC7 VL-Swing.AC7 VL-SambA.AC7 VL-BossA.AC7 VL-RhumB.AC7 VL-Waltz.AC7 VL-Rock1.AC7 VL-Rock2.AC7 VL-4Beat.AC7
  4. So I found this gooey glue like substance that's wet under my keybed, I got my x9000IN just two days ago, but noticed this only today, it was visible in the gap between the keys and the fabric under it. Theres some drops of it undet the 5th octave keys. Is it normal or is it something the store did to it before selling it to me? Should I send it back? VID_20210118_121946.mp4
  5. Just got my CT-X9000IN ! The key action blew me away when I tried it at the store, I've played ctk-7200s and ctk-3200s at my music school, but this feels much softer. I hope the keys don't get noisy with time (welp). The voices are pretty amazing too, as I upgraded from a 4-octave keyboard. The aix chip does make a huge difference I guess, the grand (001)'s lowest octaves sound so much more... complete than the ctks. Started reading the user manual :), is there I way I can set the touch sensitivity level and some other functions so that it doesn't go to default when I turn the keyboard off and on? I saved in onto a registeration, but it would be nice if I could switch the default setting.
  6. Rich Formidoni says in this review https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ARp4eTG_WGU at 12 minutes and 8 seconds of the video that the CT-X 5000 works with the Wah-wah effect at the entrance of the expression pedal. Why don't I find this setting?
  7. Can anyone point to a specific USB to Bluetooth adapter that they know will pair any of the CT-X siblings to IOS and/or Mac hardware? T.I.A. !!!
  8. Well, we know that Casio has shown us a new range of products. The CT-X line of keyboards consisting of the CT-X700/800/3000/5000 The cheapest will cost around 179 dollars if i'm correct, and that will feature 48 notes of polyphony, a 12 watt speaker system, +- 200 styles and +- 600 sounds. The most expensive one will cost about 400 dollars, which is pretty darn cheap if you ask me. 64 notes of polyphony. 30 watt speaker system. +- 240 styles and +- 800 sounds, and 4! Variations per style. The best part?! They've introduced a new sound engine called the AiX, and if you listen to the CT-X700 you'll get blown away! It has better soundquality than the PSR-E series (That start at 150 dollars i believe) And better polyphony. My imagination is that (we haven't heard it yet unfortunately) The CT-X5000 will sound even BETTER! And yes, the guitars will now have velocity switched noises like slides and things like harmonics, that's impressive. There are 3 things that i don't like about this (Or maybe my expectations were to high because of the MZ-X range) - No touchscreen (The UI on the MZ-X looks fantastic) - No matter how hard Casio tries they just can't hold a candle to the Sweet! Voices on the Yamaha's (And that's 22 year old technology) - Still that weird box-styled keybed, how hard can it be to go back to proper style keybeds that don't rattle or clang? I'm hoping that this topic will go to a proper spot (If this isn't the correct one) And that we can have nice discussions about the machines, and i'm sure we will! Because let's be honest, Casio have really REALLY outdone themselves this time in a budget range of keyboards!
