  1. Hi, Hope your'e doing great... I have a a small 49 key midi keyboard (roland A49) and I'd like to attach it to the PX-5S via midi and assign a different tone from the PX-5S tone library. For example I need to have a piano tone on the PX-5S and an organ tone on the midi controller on the stage. How do I do this? I would really appreciate your help...
  2. Bought the PX-S3000 almost a year ago. Still love it, still sounds Great! I just bought a midi host interface so i can control my PX-S3000 with the new Keystep 37 i just got. The keystep controls it fine. Prefect no latency or anything. Only issue is that i can only control the piano sound through the midi from the keystep. If i change the sound on the PXS the keystep is still only controlling the piano sound. the sound will be changed on the Casio's keyboard but not through Midi. Any one have this issue before or know a solution? i have looked around in the manual and on google but i can't seem to find anything. Please help!! one of the main reasons i got the Keystep was to control all the sounds on PXS and use the arp, chord, and sequence features on the keystep.
  3. I have recently bought a used Casio LK-41 (Japanese Language). It has a Midi Usb port. I have been trying to connect it to my Dell N4050 laptop to use it as a midi controller device with Reaper, but it is not connecting properly. I have tried 4 different midi cables of various lengths, but no luck. I have tried to connect it to another laptop as well, but I get the same error. I have tried tons of different drivers; none of them work. In the device manager, it should show under Sound and Game Controllers, but it always appears as an Unknown Device under Universal Serial Bus Controllors. I used to have Windows 10 64-bit; I switched to Windows 7 32-bit, then to Windows 7 64-bit in a hope to resolve the issue, but all in vain. I have done a lot of research. But I haven't been able to find any solution. I would really appreciate if a professional would help me out please! P.S. I am considering the following solutions at the moment: 1. Switching to Windows XP 32-Bit. 2. Joining 2 Midi Cables in order to attach the Piano to two USB ports at once (In case, if it is an issue of the piano not getting enough voltage).
  4. Greetings, I just purchased a new Casio Privia PX 560M and I'm really enjoying it. The only thing I can't figure out is how to use it as a MIDI controller for my Yamaha Motif Rack ES. I've connected the MIDI cable but I can't figure out how to make the sounds come out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The MIDI cord is connected to the Yamaha Rack's "midi in" and to the the PX 560M's "midi out".
